I didn't know Alaska had 24 hour sunlight during the summer.
Sun would still be up at 12a.m. A lot of Alaskans use black out curtains to sleep. Crazy as chit when I learned about it.

Only the northern parts. They also get 24 hours of darkness during Winter, which is also nuts.
Alaska is way too isolating of a place to enjoy this type of thing. Around the equator it gets dark at like 5:30-6pm all year, and I honestly kinda hate that as well.
I think the best solution is to spend Summers in the US, and Winters in South America, so you can get 8-10pm sunsets for 50% of the year.
