Lease vs Buy new car?
What are some people’s thoughts of either.. I’m leaning towards leasing but haven’t done it before but only heard positive things

Since you're too poor to buy one, lease is the answer

Lease seems like a good idea if you have money to spend.
There's only so many hours in your life, do you really want to spend it on car maintenance is the question and if the answer is no, lease means = zero headache.

Lease is throwing away money. Only do it if you're rich.

Depends on what you plan to do with vehicle. You plan to live life on the edge or keep it for many, many years to come.

There used to be a time when it made more sense to lease the car THEN buy it, if you really wanted it. By the time the lease expires the car has depreciated in value more than what you paid for the lease, lol.

When I made less money I was all about buying used and paying cash. Now I make enough that the cost of the lease is irrelevant. Do whatever gets you the lowest price. If you're gonna get rid of it in 2 years, just lease.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

If you own a business, leasing is okay for tax purposes.
Pros: can upgrade car every few years, lower payment, tax benefits, usually warranty covers the duration of the lease.
Cons: You don't have an asset, any damage needs to be fixed upon lease turn in, buyout is usually higher than the car is worth at that point if you like it.

lease = dont need to do any maintenece. never have to change the oil or rotate the tires. drive it hard af. do burn outs, go over jumps
end up paying a bit more over time though

There's almost no maintenance on a brand new car. It's like $60 and 30 minutes to change my own oil with full synthetic. Why would I base a 40k decision on 60 dollars
