Anyone else on Ozempic?
I just got back into lifting after a handful of failed attempts mostly to popping my bicep tendon and then wanting to travel internationally. I can honestly say it's amazing.

No chance. I'd rather lose it the proper way.
If I wanted to lose it all. Which I don't.

It's funny all the fat positive people who claimed they were physically incapable of being anything but obese, end up taking ozempic and losing weight. Just lol…. I dunno.

They'll find something 10 year from now how terrible it was for you.
Like vaping they thought it was healthier and now 10 years later find out its actually worse and wrecked so many people's lungs and theyre breathing in all kinds of random chemicals from high temperature Chinese plastics

Yep started last week.
The peptide world is super interesting. Listened to a few podcasts and videos before jumping on, wasn't hard to get.
Seems like all upside with very little downside. You slowly ramp up dosage until you find your sweet spot. No real side effects, bit of burping and acid reflux.
It's basically an appetite supressant, not a stimulant like other fat loss drugs. Seems to have positive effects beyond the weight loss such as cognitive enhancing, reduces other addictive tendancies (drugs/alcohol), and in a weird way makes you crave healthier foods.
It doesn't make you lose muscle in any direct way, just puts you in a caloric deficit. The people who have that 'ozempic look' have gone too hard, too fast for too long without keeping their protein up and gym.

Glad the weight loss drug is working for you. It isn't something I would take, with its reported side effects. That, and i'm able to lose weight the old fashion way. But understand for some people the weight loss drugs are a preferred option.
I hope the weight loss drugs do not ruin our health care insurance programs. I've read that mention before, that due to their high costs and popularity, medical insurance costs are rising.

Yes just finished my first week.
I got depressed about 4 years ago and stopped taking care of myself completely. Drinking, binge eating etc all increased and activity levels dropped.
I decided to sort my chit out and started taking ozempic. So far, have been very impressed by the impulse control it has provided me. I have not had much desire to drink alcohol, eat junk food and my general stress levels seem better. I feel more clarity in my head and I genuinely think it has an impact on brain chemistry.
I started on 1 mg and had some slight nausea but nothing too intense so far.

Is there any benefit for someone who already stays lean by eating the appropriate amount or only for fatties?

Nah. F that.
Iโd rather curb hunger with Anavar and EC plus nicotine for good measure.
Not ****ing with those GLP-1โs. I donโt know why anyone who isnโt on the verge of deathly obese would risk it. Even more so if you are doing it from a fitness standpoint as a shortcut.
At least with gear and other compounds you can assume obvious risk.

I would consider it if I felt like I needed it, but I'm a natural hardgainer, losing weight is like riding a bicycle for me. Maintaining my weight is hard
As far as I know, almost all of the side effects are from losing weight too rapidly and not directly from ozempic itself. If you lose 10lbs in a month, a lot of that is going to be muscle no matter how you do it
