how often do you think about humans as highly evolved apes ? (srs)

when you're in a social situation, do you ever zone out and imagine everyone as just highly evolved ape specimens that have learnt to talk etc?

*Looks at humanity across the globe*

No, I can honestly say I dont see humans as 'highly' evolved apes.

All the time. our social structures are almost identical to apes except for smelling each others butts and picking butts out of their hair.

The main outline is very similar on whole sits at the top and the like.

Funny they can organize an entire hierarchy and they cant talk, they just all understand how to fall in line.

We have humans….and we have apes. For some unknown reason we allow apes to walk amongst us and wonder why they act so different.

The reason we evolved is because of fire. Once we could harness its power and especially use it to cook food and scare away predators, we had f*ck all to do around the campfire at night and that's why we started to communicate and from there we went on to create language and from there we created socialization.
