Rate Breakfast (aka 45 weeks later and I'm still eating like a POW)

Bodyweight still moving down.

213.2 yesterday.

Last October I was 290.

BTW the POW thing were the words of another Miscer, not my own. I actually like the structure of eating this way every day. It takes the guesswork out of it.

Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Onion
Cayenne pepper

60g protein
35g carbs
3.5g fat

10 oz chicken
37.5g rice (dry) (225g spread over 6 meals)
2-3 oz kale (16 oz spread over six meals)

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, the hunger part has been pretty tough at some points. My stomach is constantly growling loudly lol. Not a great look when you’re sitting in a meeting and people are looking at you.

But once I switch to a long-term maintenance phase, and I can eat more calories, things like that will get a little better.

No those six meals are my daily intake. I cook those meals every morning at 4:30 AM after doing 30 minutes on the bike.

In terms of goals, I started out way too fat obviously. I'm probably nearing the end of the cutting process. I probably have another 20-25 pounds left to go. I just want to feel good and live a long life. I already feel great. But I definitely need to be under 200 pounds permanently for longevity purposes.

20-25 may sound like a lot still, but considering I've already lost 75 in the last 45 weeks (and 179 if you go back several years)… I'm getting pretty close.

Right now I'm eating 60 oz of lean meat per day, yes. Currently it's mostly chicken, but I also frequently use wild caught salmon for breakfast and 96/4% Laura's Lean ground beef in the mix as well.

Traditionally, I've used 8 oz per meal/48 oz per day, but when I eat more protein and fewer carbs, it makes the hunger more bearable. So recently I've been sticking with that.

*So for the naysayers, it's not like I'm doing it because I believe that much protein is necessary or optimal for physical reasons beyond hunger suppression.

das it

I actually enjoy these meals also srs. Only difference is I'll teriyaki the chicken or salsa with ground beef. The rice on the side is a staple. Occasionally, I'll do steak and mashed potato

Have you ever tried carnivore?

I've been real close years back when I was eating ketogenic diets, but I was still eating an avocado every day, so I guess it wouldn't count, strictly speaking. That sort of very low carb, animal based diet seems to work great for some people.

For me it encourages binging, as does almost every other diet out there. But it worked. If I could make it a couple of weeks without breaking down and binging, I'd lose weight. Then if I'd get right back on the next day, I'd lose over a period of months. But eventually the binges started outweighing the progress.

This bro/bodybuilding-style diet is the only thing that I've been able to do long term without the urge to binge eat.

I get variety through different seasonings, different vegetables, and different cuts of lean meat.

The good thing is that, no matter what, I can always change it tomorrow if I don't like what I cooked today.

you could have lost weight a lot faster but i think your chances at regaining it are a lot higher when you crash diet.

You're looking at 2469 kcal in the OP.

360g protein
210 carbs
21g fat

Trust me, that's not a lot of food when you're lifting 5+ days per week and doing fasted cardio. But I've been as low as 1500-1600 for short stretches of time.

Also, I wasn't interested in losing more than 75 pounds in 10 months. That's a recipe for losing all your muscle.

I cook it in the rice cooker with my rice.

Kills two birds with one stone. Less stuff to clean up, etc.

I fukn love that stuff. It's completely replaced Louisiana Hot Sauce for me.

Have you tried the Agave Siracha Yellow Bird? It's similar to the yellow one, but without the heat. Not too bad, but not as good as the yellow.
