Are black-crime statistics severely underreported?

If you simply go on statistics you could think that the 1 out of every 3 black men who is in the criminal justice system might suggest that the other two are college-educated and volunteers at their local animal shelter.

However that doesn't make sense as the statistics don't include charges dropped or dismissed due to technical reasons (i.e. accessory but can't prove involvement), those blacks that haven't been apprehended to charge in the first place or that many precincts don't report crime-statistics for fear of backlash (i.e. evidence that could be used against them for profiling, inequities in policing, etc.)

extremely, lots of cities have simply stopped reporting crime stats all together so they don't look bad

But you’re forgetting that negative statistics disproportionality affect the Black and LGBTQ+ communities

And the media in various countries refusing to describe non-white criminals, even ones that are still on the run. Not a safety hazard, I guess.

The media is FAST to call white people "White supremacist" or "Far right," but they won't even mention the demographic of a rapist on the loose if they are a minority. That gosh darned "Teen" was up to no good!
