Is there anything more pathetic than people obsessed with the NBA?

Don’t get me wrong, I like the NBA and my Knicks but the basketball craze is at a whole new level of stupid. Some people must have nothing going on in their lives to be so obsessed with basketball.

brb watch woke ESPN 24/7
brb wearing another man’s name on your back
brb go watch the game at some chit sports bar
brb spend $1000 to take the fam to the game
brb Lebron and Bronny
brb spend 7 hours a week on fantasy Basketball
brb Lakers fan for no reason
brb Celtics tattoo on my chest like an idiot

I’m down for watching the game on Monday, but that’s it. And if I miss it, the highlights are good enough. Imagine investing all of your free time for 6 months to watch a bunch of grown men push each other around and in reality 31/32 teams will end their season in disappointment. And the winner gets to hold a trophy over their head, lol.

I don't see people obsessed with NBA?

Most folks I work around talk about Football and Baseball. There's no NBA talk.

from a sportscel…its the dumbest sport (noracist).

basically its a tall-sport. just be tall and the success rate increases exponentially. I mean I can't figure out how no one ever thinks this except me (manlet though fml).

I told some femaloid that the worst thing about the game is the sneakers squeaking and she said she could never watch another game after I told her that cuz its so distracting.

stupid sport should be cut in half re: time. could play in 30 minutes and get roughly the same score differentials.

no need to even discuss the thuggish culture. football players aint brains but hearing interviews with dripping NBA players is just sad to watch.

also its second only to soccer for povertycels.

maybe the actual worst part is the lip-smacking/licking at the free throw line.

only plus as I've long said is that its indoors in the winter. something to do if you live in boringsville. honestly I think this is the appeal the fashion-indoors aspect…so it attracts a lot of people attracted to bling.

y'know the more I think about it the iller it makes me. I could prol tell you a dozen another cons about this dumb sport.

edit: thanks for the incoming reps

NBA fans live in poverty.

Spending $2k on NBA 2K online outfits, tickets to the game, jerseys, fresh Jordans.

It's sad when cucks like JayDawg and BigDeeps who grew up fatherless or with weak father figures, attach themselves to guys like Lebron in search of the parental guidance they never had.

Not really. Anyone can have a full on hobby. Could be gaymes, books, action figures, art. I think people who collect and go all the way in on a hobby is cool interest.

And with the NBA, its pretty vast so there's alot of things you can do with it.

Any obsession with a sport is pathetic.

I don’t see many people obsessed with NBA, as much as NFL.

But if you want to see sports obsession at the highest level, it’s around soccer in Latin America and Europe.

NFL fans have a cuckier vibe.

Like Half of the country vowed to boycott the NFL after the kneeling thing, and they were super loud about it on social media.

That lasted like a month, then they were back to watching it and squealing in delight every Sunday for the big game, whilst wearing the jerseys of the same players they claimed were "unpatriotic" or whatever.

The NFL season is shorter than NBA, but the fans think of nothing else during it.
