Huge blow out during a weekly mow with a customer

you won't believe the nonsense I had to deal with today. I show up for my regular mowing job at this customer's house, and they’re having a big graduation party for their son, with tables and chairs all set up in the backyard. Who plans a party on the day they know their lawn guy is coming?

Anyway, I start mowing as usual, and the dad storms out, yelling at me to stop because they’re having lunch. I just ignore him and keep mowing because it's my scheduled time, and I’m not going to wait around for them to finish their little party. He starts chasing me around the yard, trying to get me to stop, but I just keep doing my job, weaving in and out between the tables while they’re eating. You should have seen their faces – priceless. They’re all trying to cover their plates from the grass clippings flying everywhere.

And to top it off, they left the graduation cake outside. Genius moves. By the time I’m done, the cake is covered in grass. The dad is still chasing me, shouting and waving his arms, but I just ignore him and finish mowing. I pack up and leave with them all glaring at me. Some people really have no common sense. Unbelievable. He even tried to cancel on me when we have a seasonal contract, you can bet your ass I'm taking him to court. The best part is I will be showing up next weekend to mow again. I am going to record him the entire time. I bought a GOPRO. I'll be strapping it to my chest. I hope the punk comes back out and tests me.

They are on a seasonal contract. They signed a 12-month contract. We are not going to break it. It is in the contract they have to pay me 3,000 to end the contract. He signed right under that agreement.

Freaking people. They think they are tough. LOL.

I'm the business owner here. He is a slave to a corporation living in a 500,000 house. He won't ever own the company.

Pretty sure trespassing after he’s told you to leave is grounds for your precious contract to be void.

You could have just left and stuck him with the bill and said you tried to fulfill your end and now he is in breach of contract.

Instead you commit a crime and open yourself up.

he has not formally trespassed me. He isn't smart enough to do that. I might quit mowing next week and then laugh when he calls me. I am talking to my attorney Thursday.

i use to move carts out of the way and just kept looking straight. people would get so mad lol

those were the days before i became a business owner.

The dude called me back wanting me to mow again. Little did he know all the other lawn care companies are my buddies and they all told him no.

So now he has no one
