Being tall isn't as important in real life as it's made out to be on the misc
Most financially successful men are average to below average height
So are most men with families
Both of the above are measures of success as a man
Being tall might get you noticed in comparison to other men
But it doesn't convey success
The only thing it might give you an advantage with is dating in your 20's and 30's for women who are impressed with superficialities like being tall
After that nobody cares (i.e., nobody cares if you're tall, average, or short as a 50 year old middle aged man)

Smugness intensifies

More financially successful men are average height, because most men are average height, but taller men are still massively overrepresented, and taller men are more successful on average.
The average height of CEO's and such is higher than the average of the population though, showing they are in fact over-represented in height. For example, 58% of fortune 500 CEO's are 6 foot and over, while something like 15% of the population are over 6 foot. It's actually well documented that there's a subconscious bias towards height that goes far beyond just dating.
It's not that important to me either way since i'm not a manlet, but we shouldn't pretend facts aren't true because they are upsetting. That's known as 'cope' Sir.
[edit] Just realized it's a GMiscer thread. Ignore everything I said, lmao.

Don't let him start another height war on the misc. It's what he wants, the filthy little manlet.

It's true. Why do I usually agree with gmiscer? There must be something wrong with me.

Quoted for truth. But just because someone is short doesn't mean they're screwed in life. They'll have to develop certain skills more than others who are average height or taller.
