yeah Safeway has been lame to me in the past. Sometimes I'll clip coupons and for some reason the woman working the register clears them all out somehow.

The last time I went there I bought a gallon of milk that was 50% off since the exp date was in 3 days. Woman didn't even scan the discount sticker so I paid full price. what hell.

when I go to Fred Meyer/Kroger, they usually have to clear something out for me at checkout because there is apparently a limit to how many coupons you can clip and how many discounts you can claim. They try to punish you for taking advantage of too many deals…. that they offer.

yeah, it definitely seems scammy! They know most people are going to walk out of there paying full price without checking the receipt. Why do they need to do this AP click nonsense? Why can't they just list it in the store and that's what the price is, no clicking or anything, just old school sale ads? Why can't they do it? Because they are SCAMMING

you can be sure some SMART ethnic KAREN is going to LAWYER UP and get her some reparations!

Thanks for the tip, I shop there too and so does my gf. I take 5 minutes to tap all that stuff on the app, now I need to study the recipe. Thanks.

Sounds like in the time you spent playing with coupons and talking to online customer services you could have made enough money not to have to do either by just buying food at the price its marked at.
