I doubt it, there were more lifters back then. Even less likely than now to support a liberal, even though Romney was a chode

I wasn’t old enough to vote yet in 2012 but I vaguely remember Romney getting clowned by the misc. He was seen as a ph@ggy out of touch politician (same as today). Most people supported Obama or Ron Paul that year.

Most people didn't make that big a deal of it, it wasn't as divided as it is now.

A lot of Misc was cool with Obama, he was used in a lot of memes

Obama didn't even support gay marriage. He wasn't hyper liberal like current day democrats are

That was the final election before things really hit the fan. Honestly, I can't remember if I even voted in that election, but would have voted Romney. I think I was working 12 hour days then and not able to make it to vote that day.

I voted Romney. I used search to look for misc threads about 2012 election and only found a thread where miscers were betting $100 on the outcome and based on that thread misc seemed pretty split. User named bluerain appears to have bet romney and stiffed users metroins and dirk diggler when he lost.

I voted Obama back in 2012.

Couldn't bring myself to vote for a Mormon, so I voted for Muslim Barrack Hussein Obama instead…

I'm pretty sure Ron Paul got as much love as Bernie did on the other side of the isle, which is a lot. Romney was mid at best. Remember when it came out he'd strapped his dog to the roof of his car on a 12hr road trip and it liquid shat all over the roof and back windscreen of the car. lulz.

I voted McCain in 2008 even though I despised McCain, because I thought Obama needed to be kept out of office.

I stayed home in 2012. Felt like Obama was guaranteed to win.

I would never vote dem.

I didn't vote for either, because they are not my president.

It was more pro-Paul during the primaries, but MiscFront lined up behind Romney for the general election.

It's weird how MiscFront flexed from a pro-liberty libertarian to simping for a wannabe authoritarian autocrat conman, but here we are.

Didn’t vote for Obama crew
I did borrow 17 Obama signs in my neighborhood and put them all in my buddies yard.
His dad found it comical and then told him to get the signs down asap.

politics was mostly kept to the R&P section, didn't bleed out into the main misc forum much if at all. Couldn't tell you which way the misc leaned, I don't think most miscers at that time really even paid attention to politics
