Tried PC gaming at parents house
Visiting my parents for a few days and my dad got a 4080 super to run his engineering simulation software.
Hes subscribed to pc game pass since he wanted to try getting into some games so I downloaded him Forza horizon 5, tomb raider definitive edition, prey, doom eternal, flight simulator, hellblade 2
This morning we booted up Forza horizon 5 and I set it up for him. Playing with controller. Maxed out all the settings including ray tracing and played at native 4k with dlaa for anti aliasing.
Was easy to setup and looked fantastic. Becoming a PCcel is calling my name boyos. Not 100% set on it yet but leaning that way

I haven't had time to narrow it down yet, but I have never had a hang up with my pc since I built it, and now all of sudden I have this massive windows lag on startup the same day I'm prompted to reboot my pc 50x by icue.
I like the actual mouse itself tho. It's got one of the best clicks in the business srs.

I had alot of fun with PC, but when the major issues happened, they were bad. The smaller issues were a nuisance at best.
PC gaming isn't rocket science most of the time, you just have to jump through extra hoops.
I've spent most of my years only on PC, and just 2 years only on console. I'd say my opinion is more nuanced than yours since you have never been on both sides of the coin like me. To demonstrate, I can easily make a list of pros and cons for BOTH console and PC, but you can't. According to you, PC gaming is a 10/10 flawless platform with no weakness. Complete bias and no ability to admit any benefits of a console.
If I ask you right now what's the pro of console gaming, all you can say is: "so poor people can play games", aka an answer to make yourself look superior rather than any attempt to be truthful and objective.

It's true, many people have issues running cs2 cause people refuse to upgrade their toasters
But not me and my Acer predator Orion 3000. My rig is current gaming PC

And if you're an online gamer it's a massive issue on PC to play vs other PC gamers with weak hardware.
Its a small advantage but worth mentioning…if you're on console and playing against others, at least everyone else has the same hardware configuration.

Dont think I can ever go back to having only one platform. PC will always be a mainstay alongside a console.
Of course the goat set up is having everything lol , PCPS5XboxStimdick masterace…. Only thing I don't have is a Switch, but I'll rectify that with Switch 2. Bout time I go back and play all the pokemon games I've missed since Gold/Silver.

I do agree with this on a personal level. I mean yes, there's a lot of games to play and if you wait it out longer, you can be expected to play the best version of the game once all the patches have been rolled out …. From my experience at least, I dont think I've suffered from this problem where I felt like I should have waited for the game to be fully patched out (except cyberpunk) , especially when it comes to Sony exclusives— As far as Sony exclusives goes, they are always solid, release in a perfectly decently state and everything else that comes after is just the cherry on top.
I know fellas on here, and even you, look down on day 1 gamers … I've always lold at it, it's just a vidya game, if it looks good, you're super interested to play it .. Just buy it and play it lol. Fuk that noise about so called "guinea pigs" and "beta testers" lol.

I mean yes, there's a lot of games to play and if you wait it out longer, you can be expected to play the best version of the game once all the patches have been rolled out …. From my experience at least, I dont think I've suffered from this problem where I felt like I should have waited for the game to be fully patched out (except cyberpunk) , especially when it comes to Sony exclusives— As far as Sony exclusives goes, they are always solid, release in a perfectly decently state and everything else that comes after is just the cherry on top.
I know fellas on here, and even you, look down on day 1 gamers … I've always lold at it, it's just a vidya game, if it looks good, you're super interested to play it .. Just buy it and play it lol. Fuk that noise about so called "guinea pigs" and "beta testers" lol.

Some of my top played games were early access games like Pubg and day z. Most fps games are a bit of beta testing in general. Good ones are being updated/patched/balanced on a regular basis anyways.
Dayz in particular was an absolute mess of performance and early access bull****, but the fun levels were so high it made you forget or simply not care.
I think by now tho most of us know what is safe to be day 1 games. It's ok to buy the newest God of war on day 1, it's probably going to be well made and worth it…. but don't buy star wars outlaws on day 1 because then you're just part of the problem, supporting soulless cash grabby bullchit. We should know better.

True. Since Sony is also releasing their titles on PC now, after a while.
Personally I dont wanna wait years to play a sony exclusive so I'd rather play day one on the console. I guess if you can only afford one platform, a pc is the best place to be, but consoles do have their benefits such as the plug and play aspect. No interest in DS2, and I think persona is multiplat now according to Sega.
As long as Persona is day and date I literally have zero use for a PS.
