this shot was over exposed as **** (light meter issue). Was surprised when I was able to bring back some of the highlight detail. Film> !!!!!!!!!! (for highlights)

sucks the car was behind her. But we liked how the light was hitting her so we made do the best we could.

When you come to think of it, almost all human behaviour and activity is not essentially any different from animal behaviour. The most advanced technologies and craftsmanship bring us, at best, up to the super-chimpanzee level. Actually, the gap between, say, Plato or Nietzsche and the average human is greater than the gap between that chimpanzee and the average human.

I need some help brahs, It seems that my sensor is filthy. I bought one of those blower pumps and I used it but I can still see lots of dust posts in some pics. I just ordered some of those sensor swabs, are those legit?

They're wayyyyy overpriced imo But i'm tired of having those dust spots in my pics and there isn't anywhere where I can get the sensor professionally cleaned nearby

30 bucks for cloth on a stick… ayyy lmao

sony doesn't as far as I know. Also I would have to send it thousands of miles away for it to get into any sort of service center. Let's hope those luxury priced cloth sticks do the deed.

Never have sensor professionally cleaned crew
Map out dust spots automatically in software crew

If you have it professionally cleaned the dust spots will quickly return when changing lenses.

So I don't bother. Using a rocket blower and regularly running the built-in sensor cleaner takes care of the largest particles and software maps out what's left behind.

Here's a quick before/after shot. Check Dust Removal box. Gone.

that's a very handy tool. I use Lightroom which lacks that sadly, but I may give aperture a try just because of that. Thanks for the tip!

in LR i normally use Spot removal tool + visualize spots; it's one way to go for manual dust spot cleaning…. but nothing automatic that I'm aware of….

I need to get dat dere 70-200 lol. This was shot on a 24-70, through glass, at 70% crop. Luckily since it'll only ever be shared online, was well able to get away with it.

Not srs.

Utah/Nevada trip took 4 days, 3 nights, about 50 hours of driving and 3,110 miles. Some good shots, was low on wildlife until big horn in Zion, all my climbs in Colorado and I've never seen a big horn male until this weekend, got a little close and the cheeky ****er started walking towards me very aggressively, I beta'd out guys The slot canyon was pretty cool, planning on doing the whole route in 2 days next year or so, storms caused us to back out earlier than planned, but 8 people died in a town not to far away, they closed the canyons, counted about 11 people that were still in the canyon when we left, no news is good news? Will eventually process these photos and 500pix it along with the others, 5-10 years of pictures to post process, and upload.

Congrats guys!

For myself, I moved out of Alaska. Soon I'm going in search of fall colors in the PNW. Been just working on old photos for now, re-visiting them in post:

That one, when I post processed it the first time, it was WAY too dark in the foreground. I like this a lot more.
