I have nothing against what Kaep is posting. I just think he's gotten to the point where he's irrelevant so it does't even matter.
Also, you can support this movement and not be anti-cop. I don't like when people go to either extreme. Growing up around the Compton/watts area I can understand both sides here. SOME cops can be @ssholes (stopped and handcuffed for no reason) and if you're white you really can't understand that. At the same time some of the stuff they see and go through isn't easy to carry around psychologically.
But enough political talk, i'm glad no players have gotten arrested.

I feel bad that people who are totally innocent could get pulled over just for the color of their skin and then have to fear making the wrong move and getting shot. I can't relate to that and it must be scary but I just have a tough time comparing a guy who has a rap sheet a mile long with a gun, resisting arrest compared to a poor innocent guy getting lynched literally for doing nothing but being a different race.
It sucks that it has to be this way and any cop who has a power trip or racial bias should be kicked off the force immediately but i wonder how many of these fatalities can be avoided by people simply just doing whatever the cops said. Like you said some of these cops have seen some chit and I know we've all heard stories of cops being blown away doing a routine traffic stop. I know it's incredibly frustrating when you didn't do anything and you have to deal with a cop who is an *******…but is it worth the risk?
Put your hands up, let them frisk you, let them be *******s and report them later but don't resist arrest, don't mouth off, don't give them any chance to feel threatened and make a human mistake. It may suck and make you feel like chit but it can save lives. A lynching those poor people had no chance. There was nothing they could do. Some racist fuks just let their hate cloud their minds and kill innocent people.
cliffs: i don't like the lynching analogy
/change of subject
Training camp only a few weeks away…can't come fast enough. I'm excited for this season but not with the expectations of a lot of wins. Mostly excited to see the camp battles we'll have and the young guys develop with what should be much better coaching.

Has anyone else seen the recent stories about Kap being all but traded to Denver again? I am on my phone or I would post links. They are saying it is all but done… Again I will believe it when I see it.

I think Chip is really Kaep's last chance of making something out of his career. Whether he's him is in the right place is another question.
Forgot Buckner was on the team, i'm excited to see him in pre-season. Also excited to see the young secondary.

Yeah looking forward to seeing the two mountains go at it. I think Arik and he both end up starting although they don't need to rush either with Dial in there. Secondary will definitely be something to watch, hopefully the talent shines through and we keep the best of the bunch.
Brock, Dontae Johnson, Ken Acker, Reaser, Ward, Chris Davis, Will Redmond, Rashard Robinson, Prince Iworah, Marcus Cromartie….that's a lot of names.
I heard Chris Davis looked pretty good in minicamps and Cromartie had some nice moments last year. I can't imagine we'd cut the two earlier round rookies and Ward is safe so that's 3 corners on "lock down"
Obviously Ward is also safety but it wouldn't surprise me to see Brock cut so he needs to show up and play ball. Of course being the one big veteran back there gives him another advantage. I think the secondary is young and will make some mistakes but they're talented and will also make some plays, especially if the pass rush steps up which they should.

Looks like we get to play in China in 2018…that should be a fun fuking trip.
Gonna make winning the SB that year even more exciting.
Go from 1.5 hour flight to LA to a 12.5 hour flight to China…how'd the team get that lucky?

That sucks. Let's hope it's a one time thing and he stays out of trouble. Probably the best defender besides Bowman and for sure our best OLB. Missing him 4 games gonna suck, hopefully Tank finds his groove at OLB in his place.

Because of that losing Lynch isn't such a big blow plus this does provide other guys an opportunity to get more snaps and show what they have…hopefully similar to what Lynch did as a rookie due to Aldon's stupidity.

However unlike Aldon hopefully Lynch really takes this seriously and fixes whatever the heck he got popped for and we never hear any more off the field issues from him as long as he's with the team(hopefully for a long time)

Also Aldon continues to fuk up. Not this teams problem anymore but god what a waste of talent.

As much as I am sad that Aldon is gone I am glad he is gone. I cannot take all these fuk ups. He had to much potential.

Looks like Kap is cleared from his Dr's. So hopefully they announce that he is fully cleared for camp. Right now it seems like everyone is hugging on Gabberts nuts and saying he has the edge and will beat out Kap. I honestly do not see it happening and that is is Kap can figure out that mental crap he has been dealing with. Kap is better suited to run this offense. We shall see…..

And now that we see that AD is coming back there are now reports that he and the front office are on good terms. I find that silly… I really wonder what type of shape he is in and he can mentally play ball again after pussing out last year.

As I have said before we have some real dumb a$$ fans. Boldin just signed with another team and now everyone is blaming the FO. Do people not realize that he is old and slow. We need to get our young players into the game now and get them playing. While I love Boldin because of how he plays, it was time to move on.

We're in a rebuild mode. Not fair to Boldin and it doesn't make sense. Boldin for one year in a season where not much is expected means one less young player with potential on the roster. Someone who can surprise and be a quality player for us for the future.

So TC starts in a couple days and just wanted to see what camp battles you guys are excited about the most? For me it has to be WR. So many unknowns past Torey Smith and even he's an unknown going into camp as the default #1 guy.
Torey Smith
Quinton Patton
Bruce Ellington
Eric Rogers
DeAndre Smelter
DeAndrew White
Jerome Simpson
Dres Anderson
Aaron Burbage
Bryce Treggs
Devon Cajuste
I'm personally pulling for Smelter and White to make the team. Smelter is so much of an unknown at this point though and White shined last year in TC so I'm excited to see if he can build on that success.
My prediction as Depth Chart Week 1:
WR1: Torrey Smith, D. Smelter
WR2: Eric Rogers, Q. Patton, A. Burbage
Slot: Bruce Ellington, D. White
That's 7 guys though. White and Patton are probably fighting for 1 spot.

WR and CB are probably the ones which will have the most competition and the most unknowns.
Also curious how the OL shakes up.

Agreed with that… I am thinking some guys who have been on the team for a while may not make it. Brock may have a hard time landing his spot with all of that competition. Now that AD is coming back that adds another interesting unknown. Not sure if he will be in shape or if he can pick things back up after being gone for a year.

Curious to see how the whole roster emerges now with Chip as coach. I think some players we assumed make it may not cause his style is different than what we have seen in years.
Ahmad Brooks?
Bruce Miller?
QB battle
OL
TE (wtf Vance)
CB
WR
even RB situation behind Hyde
I think this whole training camp will be very interesting to watch and see how it shakes out. Hoping for no major injuries like always keep em healthy with those smoothies Chip.

Good news is we know there's no way he'd actually be out there on special teams, especially in preseason.
As for the positions here's how I see it….
Ahmad Brooks - he can thank Aaron Lynch for giving him new life imo. Though it still wouldn't surprise me to see him get cut if one of the young UDFA guys steps it up
Bruce Miller - supposedly he looked pretty good playing TE, we'll see how that goes.
QB battle - I'll be curious to see what this looks like. First time in a while we've had an actual competition for starter. I'm curious if this competition is actually legit as well.
OL - I still don't trust Davis so IMO i'd like to see a starting lineup of Staley, Beadles, Kilgore, Garnett and Trent Brown
TE (wtf Vance) - this one is actually pretty interesting. I want to believe that Vance will finally get his chit together. Chip has made many TEs look good but Vance's issue is one I'm not sure Chip can fix. He can get him in the right place at the right time but if he can't consistently catch the ball his time will be up. Behind him we have Celek, Bell, Busta Anderson who I'm excited to see what he can do but also now Bruce Miller potentially in the mix. Do we keep 4 TEs? Given how many multi WR formations Chip likes to use that's hard to imagine but maybe Miller is the wild card here. Honestly I feel like Celek offers the least potential but he's probably the most stable of the group til Bell gets comfortable.
CB - This one will be exciting to watch. We already had a lot of youth on the team and we just added 3 more rookies, 2 of them being early round picks. Would love to see Redmond and Robinson be our Sherman/Browner(the less penalized version).
WR - Really hoping my boy Bruce stays healthy as this is his best chance to do something. I never expected him to be the next Jerry Rice but if he can turn into a legit slot WR I'll be psyched. I like that we're letting the young guys have a go at it. Here's hoping they surprise everyone though it starts with the QB play.
even RB situation behind Hyde - not quite as interesting as the others imo. I think Draughn will be the #2 guy after showing some good things last year but I'm curious if Fred Taylor jr can show something.

Another 49er retires early….
Thankfully this time it's a guy who likely wasn't going to make the roster anyways and not someone with starter potential/all pro ability.
Gonna be scarier and scarier for the NFL. Before you used to just worry about guys getting in trouble with the law or just not being good enough to play at a high level. Now you have to worry about those things AND guys potentially retiring few years into their careers.
