Did you see that the UK is no longer recommending the shots for pregnant women?

Or that Denmark stopped offering the shots to people under age 18?
That's because vs omicron, the vaccines aren't very useful. They were made for old strains. That's why the recommendations have changed. You're acting like it is the same virus.

i don't know what the issue to be addressed is. the fact that rheumatoid or other autoimmune conditions can flare after getting the vaccine is known, but until there's a direct comparative study between mRNA vaccines and, say, novavax it seems like nobody can really confidently say which is less likely to cause issues.

They never "reported zero" cases of flu. Flu is still around. And btw, vaccines are helpful and preferred to actually getting a virus, which you may not survive. I take my flu shot every year. It makes logical sense to take it, and if more took it, we'd be a lot less likely to see novel variants. The purpose of medicine is to use technology to extend life and improve the quality of life.

Your risk of severe illness and of suffering severe adverse events is reduced if you get covid after being vaccinated compared to getting covid unvaccinated, but ok.
