This is a complicated topic that we’re not going to resolve thru a few posts in a message board, but that’s actually one of the reasons that Christianity rings true to me.

The idea of revealed truth (God telling us about gim) is something that takes faith, but it’s far more satisfying to my soul than humans saying we figured out God on our own (lol).

I was raised a Jehovah's Witness for the first 10 or so years of my life. Afterwards, my parents still wanting me to learn the teachings of jesus forced me to go to my grandmothers baptist church and that isexactlywhat they believe. The preacher would say that you need to repent or else you would go to hell. He didn't mince words about it or speak in metaphors either, lol. Or are the Baptist teachings wrong?
