I was decently excited for this game, as my teenage years were spent playing MMOs and RPGs like morrowind/oblivion. Having said that- all the criticism is definitely warranted. Still having decent fun though, because I like looter/shooters. Like other posters have said- It certainly feels like there was a decent amount of cut content, which is slightly disappointing.

that scene was 10/10. actually a well-written scene. I ended off with that mission, but hope to see more scenes like that.

lets b real here haters. the thing that made witcher 3 good was the music. that's whats lacking with cyberpunk 2077. if it had music as epic as the witcher 3 no one would be complaining

Welp, I wasn't even thinking about getting this game until I could get an rtx 3080 but looks like I might not be wanting it at all. I'm sure it's decent, but I was looking for a next gen experience, the defining game of the generation. Looks like it is nowhere near that. Looks like it is at best on par with any other easily ignored game that's released these days. At worst, it has major systems and aspects that come straight out of oblivion, a 14 year old game, which is ridiculous.

Maybe on sale a year from now.

it was already "on sale" for like $26 if you did the VPN trick. this is why i have no qualms about it. if i paid $80…i dunno, i may feel different.

i bought it for $80 on steam and no regrets, wasn't expecting this godly innovative game that everyone expected, just a well-written rpg, which idk yet cause im not that far in. but i actually didn't realize how much content there would be, i think i could probably get 100-200 hours or more out of this game. it'll last me until baldur's gate 3 is finished its early access bull****

i have like 20 sidequests right now, and not counting the countless gigs and ? gigs on the map i haven't ran into yet

The tech weapons are entertaining af to use, making the game significantly more fun IMO

The bigass metal sniper rifle is so satisfying to use as well, you can even pull it out in close combat as a last resort and it's like a shotgun on steroids at point blank range. Useful on those big blunt melee guys that charge you

Tech guns are absolutely busted once you put points in Tech and Engineering perks. Combat AI is pretty fukin stupid, even without quickhacks it's pretty easy to wreck enemies without needing to see them.

I apparently got bugged out of a mission (fixer mentions netrunner opening an apartment door; it never happened) but I "solved" it by pulling out my Nekomata and wallbanging until everyone was dead LOL

this game has 170,000+ reviews on steam within 5 days, mostly positive - i think this is unprecedented

i thought the average gpu steam users have is a gtx1600?

i am smelling some phuckery going on here, either that or the coping is stronk for CDPR fanboys

Not really. Metacritic PC reviews have gone up over a full point in ~3 days. It was like a 5.5 the day they started allowing reviews. It's at 7 now. The PC version has wayyy more good going for it than it does bad. Anyone not going into the game having already decided they don't like it like 90% of you in this sub forum are having a great time.

Anyways, off to go play the game. Stay raging my dudes.
