What's the MFC consensus on 2011s, are they range toys only or serious self defense pistols you can rely on?
I’ve seen good reviews on the Bul Armory pistols.

As far as range toy vs serious use, I think with any gun (even a stock 19) it’s up to the individual to use the specific firearm to ensure reliability. Not trusting my life to anything unless I’ve vetted it personally.

Don’t see why you couldn’t use a 2011 for “serious” (assume that means home defense or conceal carry) use if you know it’s reliable.

If it needs to be replaced, that means it's worn out. And to wear it out you'd need to shoot it. So you'll be all set.

Those are the first that come to my mind. Mark IV is currently on my buy list.

A Tikka or CZ 22 rifle would be a good entry to precision bolt action rimfire. Anschutz if you wants to start at the top.

Build done. Really satisfied with the end result. Would recommend Battle Werx. Just a long wait…took all of 6 weeks.

Tried to get everything in the pics. Second pic that’s actually a chevron.

They quoted 4-6 when I followed up on my order. It was exactly 6 weeks to to the day from when they received it to the day I got it back (6 weeks and 2 days from day i shipped it to them). So it was within the range. Quality work. Just expect to wait for anyone that is sending them their slide. The coating process is what delays it from what I've gathered. The re-finish looks as good as OEM….hopefully it holds up well.

thinking about changing out the pistol brace on a law tactical folding setup. It came with the SB tactical SOB brace…..which is very simplistic with no adjust-ability. Whats' the fav nowadays….SBA4? Others? Looks and cheek weld wise I like the SBA3 over the 4

Why would you buy a brace when they are about to be illegal?

A stock would stand out less and same crime committed
