So many types of technology have massively increased efficiency and we just end up doing more of it rather than the efficiency leading to less humans needed.
Some cool technology out there where a laser generated more power than it consumed. If this takes off...

was thinking about putting some money into AI but today their stock tanked 20+%. I did not read the article but the headline mentioned something about possible accounting fraud in revenue reporting.

Are these accounting scandals usually the end of most companies? Isnt that what happend to enron?

I went a little too short with sbux puts expiring April, but such is life. Most covered calls have been expiring worthless and CSP staying OTM as well. I’m still positive for 2023 on short term holdings/closed positions and when the Sbux puts close worthless I think I’ll be maybe $500 negative for the year at that point. Still got lots of premiums expiring in May so I’ll be back to positive and long term positions are looking good. Cano is potentially the next option position to expire worthless but I’m still hoping for either private equity(Barry Sternslicht) or Humana to buy them out. CEO is trash but company itself has lots of potential and billions in revenue. I have until September so we will see.

Agreed. WSJ had a good article on this. That's why I invest in small and mid caps. Actually it's probably time to move some more funds over to them and other sectors.

I think buffet buying oxy is safer. I’m keen to see how much premium XOM is willing to shell out if they are actually going to do it. Particularly when XOM has been selling mature assets that aren’t natty gas and we’re trying to diversify into alternative energy.
