Apparently there working on an online part of the game. Likely an unpopular opinion but I rly hope its a mix of GTA online and Destiny 2. As a huge looter shooter fan I see great potential where you can run co-operative missions with 2 or 3 others with matchmaking and you get better weapons, armours, mods & money to buy apartments that you would be able to buy throughout the city, some nicer and more expensive then others as well as vehicles you can buy and garages to store them. There could be social spaces in the form of nightclubs & bars to just chill and can take missions from NPCs. Its such an amazing and beautiful open world, I rly don't want to be done with this game but I don't see myself playing again after im finished the campaign as the story seems to be pretty linear other then the first 20 mins. Even the combat I find pretty decent for an RPG, no Destiny but defiantly passable.

My staples are pistol and assault rifle, in no small part because I'm focusing on the Reflex tree, and then a katana for close encounters

I usually start off with a basic ping hack to see where the enemies are and prepare for good cover angle.
Then I pull out the sniper rifle and try to headshot them with the bonus multiplier
then if it gets hairy and they close in I pull out the auto rifle with the holo sights
Then when theres only 2 people left I heal up to max and just run at them with a Katana while double tapping the juke button like crazy trying to move like a ninja
I feel like they do more damage to me when I shoot at them from a distance then when I just run at em point blank.

I've been playing it a bit more and I still don't think it's all that great, but part of me not enjoying it is because everything is mapped out for me. Is there a way for side missions to be more of a surprise? Like, remove them from the map until I find them?

Bugs starting to get on my nerves. Radio keeps breaking so im just driving around in silence and it makes it boring

Have the game downloading on my Xbox series x that arrived today. I’m expecting a huge upgrade in gameplay coming from the Xbox one s…we’ll see if it makes the game more playable.

I went into settings and turned off "realistic" motion sway while running and it honestly feels a lot smoother and actually lets you see more details because its less blurry/chaotic from all the extra movement.
It feels a lot better to just "glide" through the good graphics

Man this game is awesome. Enjoying it to the fullest.
Narration is nothing i've seen before. Very interactive and organic way of talking to characters (can move around).
Graphics on PC are HNGGGGG and OST really creates a good atmosphere.
Currently 18 hours in and absolutely loving it, took me 12 hours to apparently leave the prologue. That gameplay segment just after was absolutely killing.
I kinda dun goofed on the ability points part, wasn't thinking of a specific "build" to make, just what i was enjoying. Will there be any way later on to re-distribute those points?

granted they could have done better but to be fair performance is not just about graphics. there are so many systems at work simultaneously in the massive night city; its incredibly resource intensive, not just for the gpu.

I did manage to beat the 6th Street brah despite having no investment in body. What I did:
-Attack when he gets close but not too close, in combos of 5
-When you're done chaining attacks gain as much distance as possible before he attacks
-Double jump instead of dodging/blocking to conserve stamina
-Gorilla Arms for extra damage and effects (bleeding helped a ton)
On the other hand I couldn't beat the Animals chick because the arena is way too small so when I run out of stamina I'm toast lol

Played an hour on the new xbox. Quite a big improvement over the xbox one s. A lot of the annoying frame rate issues are improved, and the loading times are much better. Will play more later this week and hopefully notice some more improvements.
