Anybody else get mail from Chris Ward this week?

$150 off $400 or more or $75 off $200 or more; the coupons say not transferrable but the codes look pretty damn generic….

Thoughts?
WAY too much, you can get them with the original steel bracelet for less than that. Take your time bra, don't rush in, much better deals to be had.

Should I go with something with a white face though as opposed to black? Also could I get away wearing this with casual wear or would I look ridiculous if I wore this out of a suit? lol

that is a modified Invicta pro diver. It's got a Seiko nh-35a movement that was standard in that watch and a stainless 200m wr case, also standard. A p decent eat h aside from the giant logo and engraving on the side. I removed the bezel, dial, hands, crystal, crown guards, and polished the engraving out of the case with a fine metal file. Re polished the entire case with some wet/dry sand paper off various grits. That's a dagaz dial, and hands from yobokies. The crystal is a domed one from Otto frei. The bezel insert is from rolios (I think that's his name) on eBay. Total cost including the watch was between 175-225 dollars. It's one of my favorite pieces to wear and it's completely unique because I made it.

Thoughts on this one since it has a leather strap? Kinda like the rectangular face and I don't have such a watch yet so that'd be cool. Would this be eh…fashionable? Idk I'm a klutz when it comes to this lol. Would I be able to wear something like this dressed up and casual?

Spoiler!
these are all with the first bezel, it was a bit patina'd, i replaced it in favor of a nice new one of the same style, the red triangle.

this is the first pic i took after the mod back in april or may of 2015

you can get them in good condition from about 1400+ full set prob closer to 1750 or more, capping out around 2k. i saw one a year ago that was imaaculate for i think 1475 or soemthing. exelonman is a pretty well known omega seller i had a good transaction with him.

actually just a quick browse brought this up:
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/red...y-3578834.html

If i didnt own one and was in the market that would prob be the one i jumped on.

Congrats brah, can't speak highly enough of Steinhart, IMO they are right up there with the best value watches available. My friend has the green bezel ocean one after I pointed him in Steinharts direction and he loves it.

I've had these 2 previously, I only sold them because profit was to be made and I couldn't justify keeping with my Submariner always strapped to my wrist
