So much this. Still a bad storm for sure, but not nearly wipe everything in it's path off the earth like the media was hyping to get viewers.

I fuking lol @ all you morons saying that Irma was media fear mongering. A few islands, along with parts of DR got leveled and then Cuba took nasty hit but also managed to disorganize the hurricane enough for it to not do any significant damage to FL. If it weren't for Cuba getting wrecked, you *******s would be living in a fuking Atlantis right now after getting your angus split open by a cat5 cock. stfu, would neg if i wasn't on rc

Green Cove area has tons of downed trees and no power. I have a tree chilling on my roof now, time to hack that fukker apart. The rainfall was incredible, my sun room has standing water in it despite being sandbagged 3 high. Florida miscers check in!

Hey guise. Palm beach county crew. Still no power. Finally have decent phone service. Could not connect at all last night. Will post pictures when I can. Trees down everywhere -- this storm was a media hype job. They wanted it to land as a cat 4-5 so bad. We probably had a couple 80-90mph gusts.

The news coverage of this hurricane reminded me of Wolf Blitzer & John King frantically searching for Democratic votes on election night.

I guess you missed the part where Cuba saved your ass from getting hit by a legit cat5. You'd sing a different tune if it went straight for Florida. Or you wouldn't cause "lol we didn't even lose power" while Miami got swamped. No wonder you're red, ******* clown

In my neighborhood in east o-town just some loose branches and leaves down, couple old fence lines and see one piece of shingle in the road.
Hearing that the west side of town got hit a little harder but just glad it wasn't as bad as forecasted.
All the brahs saying this was a hype job would you be saying the same if the hurricane maintained it's strength and came at us with 180+mph winds? Jesus Christ I hate the media as much as the next guy but it's just weak ass forecasting not some conspiracy.

Still no power, drove over to make sure Dad was OK cause cell towers got knocked out yesterday. He's good. A chit ton of trees, shrubbery and debri everywhere. Driving is a mission with traffic lights, even worse without them.

No one is allowed into Miami Beach until tomorrow at noon. Bridge access not allowed in other islands.

All pretty good here in N. Pinellas county. Took a ride a few minutes ago. Some downed trees, lots of debris, but nothing crazy like down south. No power, but that was to be expected.

Can't imagine what it would have been like if it was a Cat 3/4. Have the front door open and am enjoying the cool breeze.
