As for downsizing itself: you shouldn't have certain criteria, just do what feels right. The criteria are a good way to get you thinking about which ones you like best though. My criteria were dial-wise: black dial? I've aready got all these that I love and wear, so every single black dial I don't and won't wear (enough) can go. Next up is blue dials… That way it was pretty easy letting some pieces go, despite their apparent beauty and greatness, if you don't wear them, either give them away, or sell them.
I can't get past this for a few of my more rare/irreplaceable watches. I've basically just been in "throw on the Speedy" mode for the past 9 months srs.

Though it's completely true that you never really regret it. Quite a lot of times I'd feel bad packing up a watch, and proceeded to never think about it again lol.

Hmm; may take the affordables and just give them to my little cousins to get them into decent watches

What are your thoughts on Christopher Ward? Looking into purchasing a C60 Trident 300. Really love the look, because my grail watch is the Omega Seamaster Co-Axial Professional Blue Wave Dial

I have a C60 Trident 300 and love it. Wanted a 600 because it's automatic but the 300 was on one of their 50% off sales and happened right after Brexit so I had to jump on it because the deal was so good. It's a very well made watch that's built like something twice its price. The 38mm is the perfect size for a smallish wrist and I honestly prefer the date window placement on the 300 over the 600. Mine came with leather so I can't speak to the quality of the bracelet.

Had that same exact watch, same bracelet, same woven dial. Sold it when I bought my speedy. Was a great watch, although somewhat small.

The linen dial is something else. They are now deemed rare. Prices have gone up. Only matter of time the ones in good condition are around in this day and age without it being a fraken one. Size isn't for everyone but I've got smaller wrists so I'm pretty happy with this.

Rocking the ORIS today.

Bought mine for around $550 and sold it a year later for $950. Would do it again.

Hey guys, I'm just curious what the next watch youre setting your eyes on. I just recently purchased a Seiko Chronograph for around $80. I wanted a chronograph and a watch with a brown strap. Pretty excited for it to come.

What about yall?

I don't know!!!

White:
- Not many sport diving watches that are white
- I think the black edges around the indices contrasts well against the white
- More iconic
- More understated

Black:
- Beautiful white bubbled indices against the black just like the submariner
- I have a soft spot for black dial watches
- Black dial = more versatile when it comes to outfit
- More pronounced

I need time to think. In the meantime I'll wear a homage to get used to the dimensions and all that as a stepping stone.

Ahh yes. I think I need to get my priorities straight though. I could always get the exp II in the future. They aren't going away, although their value might. Idk…

The other day I managed to get a shot of my colleague's Breitling along side my Sarb033. I'm not feeling the bezel on the B but the blue dial with the gold sub dial and everything else is so cool.

I hear you…Breitling's bezels actually grew on me. I wasn't in love with them at first.

I like them a lot more in context on the wrist. Only problem is the rider tabs rip up long sleeves while getting dressed…they're pretty sharp.

love this watch and love the strap combo. i have a strong dislike towards breitling bracelets because they're asymmetric and it drives me insane.
