Winning 10-11 games would be incredible. Pretty incredible how one person can turn around a team like Jimmy is / has. I'm hoping we can pick up a few studs in the off season to take pressure off Jimmy. I'd love to see a work horse RB next year, but don't know if that'll happen that quickly.

Definitely the draft to have a need at RB but I have a feeling Kyle will use a similar approach to what he had in Atlanta where he rotated Freeman and Coleman on the regular.

Would love to land Ronald Jones, Sony Michel or Rashaad Penny if we're going RB on day 2 in the draft. I think all 3 are perfect for what Shanahan does(in order of preference)

I also think improving our OL which I think will be a big emphasis this offseason will do wonders for the running game and improving the passing game.

It's going to be tough for Jimmy to keep this magic going and I wish we could still have the momentum from this season but an offseason kind of puts things on hold so I hope we don't get a brutal game to start the season but thinking the NFL will have other plans.

I'd say the odds are pretty good that week 1 we're playing the Rams or @ GB. Though they may want to keep the Rams games to the end of the season thinking it could be division title/playoff implication type games.

It's fuking amazing. I know Jimmy can't keep doing what he did to close out this season but fuuuuu….it's so exciting to have a kid like that around. I'm just waiting for the long term deal to get done. I have no concerns that it WILL get done. Just more of a little kid before xmas morning moment where I can't wait to open my present.

It may come down to him being franchised tagged first and then get the deal done. I hope it doesn't come to that and we get it done in the next few weeks but I'm confident with what he showed and all our cap room that we'll get this done before the season starts.

But I was watching this QB class very carefully and I'm SO glad we don't have to draft QB early. There could be some special QBS coming out of this class but they all have negatives and it's a crap shoot.

I know. There is no bona fide #1 QB in this class and I bet each team has these QBs ranked differently.

I just hope all these guys raise their draft stock. I think us winning those games built some awesome excitement for next season and showed everyone that we can win with Jimmy and showed that we can do some good things with this coaching staff with Jimmy.

However it did push us down in the draft below several QB needy teams. Browns, Giants, Jets.

I’m still hoping we find a partner to trade down with. I’d love to acquire at least an early-mid 2nd round pick…which I would target a RB with. While also giving us what I think will be a better bang for our buck.

I’m confident there will be a player to help us at 9/10 but I also think we can move down and pick up a pretty talented player there.

Let me preface by saying I don’t watch much college ball at all, with the except of LSU last year as the woman I’m currently dating is an alum. I love we are back in “contention” and have been reading any and everything about the draft.

How much do you guys hate the idea of Roquan Smith if he’s available? I know it’s not our biggest need but doesn’t seem to be a pass rusher worth the spot. I keep going back to Willis/Bowman days and how our front is strong now. Those two could roam and dominant…Derwin James highlights look good too.

Ultimately I hope we can grab a later round RB, sign Robinson and draft defense….thoughts? I know we need to do something about the guard positions too

Not interested in him.

Chubb
Fitzpatrick
Ridley
Notre Dame guard
Saquan

Is my order of who I want. Ultimately all depends on free agency. We could plug a lot of holes in free agencies.

Safe to assume Chubb, Saquan are gone. Fitzpatrick more than likely too. If we sign Robinson which is a big if I know…no Ridley, so it’s Nelson for you.

Would be huge is Saquan Barkley dropped to us. I have faith in jimmy but we’ve all seen how fast sophomore qbs can regress especially with kap in our recent memory. having a premier back for jimmy to lean on would be huge for his development and longevity as a starter. A true #1 receiver to help him would be nice as well whether it’s from fa or the draft. Don’t know much about that top rated o lineman but if he’s as good as advertise and could play at a high level right off the bat that would be a good addition too.

Jimmys fundamentals are built around his arms and not his legs which lead to less chance of regression. He could certainly end up like assweiler but I highly doubt it.

I could see 4 QB’s going before us. Rosen and Darnold will for sure. Someone will be enamored with Baker and I think Allen has a chance of going early too. That’d give us a better shot at all those guys. I love Ridley but ya if we get AR15 I’m not interested.

I love Roquan. He's definitely one of the guys I'd love to have in the first. Can't say he's my top choice but if he's the pick I'm excited. Dude is a baller and you're exactly right bringing up Willis/Bowman. They allowed us to do a lot of great things and Foster/Smith would be a great duo helping the D get creative and just fly around making plays on the ball.

Not going to happen. Jimmy will play poorly and will lose eventually but he's no Osweiler. He passed every eye and ear test.

Played very well with chit.
Won with chit.
Made chicken salad out of chicken chit(talent)
He should only get better with more talent around him and more time in the system.

Osweiler wasn't even that great and was playing on one of the most talented teams in the league. He was also in the system for several years so he didn't have to adjust to a new scheme the way Jimmy did. No comparison at all.

My only concern with Jimmy is injury. Simple as that.

Kap was a totally different QB.

I love Jimmy but I can’t lie, his footwork can be really sloppy at times. He still throws accurately when his feet are wild so it makes me think he can get a lot better if he can fix that.

I saw that video too and it's being blown way overboard. Deep passing is so much about chemistry that some of those overthrows were more on that than bad mechanics. Especially when his main point is mechanics help you throw better and Jimmy never underthrew anyone.

But I do agree…any QB even Brady can keep improving. Jimmy will certainly look to address it and I'm not worried about him on that front at all.

I am now curious to see if we can sign Jimmy before Nick Foles gets signed somewhere else. Nick is going to get paid and the will effect Jimmy's contract here. Sure there is a difference between winning the SB being the MVP but Jimmy has proved his worth and could try to get more.

Don't want to jinx anything but reports are the deal is getting close to being done and may be completed this week…of course things can change but if we can get him locked up this week that would be fuking Epic.

I hope Jimmy is here for a long time and 10+ years from now people are hating on him the way they hate on Tom Brady.

So do you guys think there's actually a team stupid enough to give up a lot for Foles? Maybe stupid isn't the right word. Desperate. You guys think there's a team out there desperate enough out there to give up a lot for Foles? Or do the Eagles keep him until Wentz gets healthy? Of course, if Foles stinks it up(highly likely) in the beginning of the season, his value goes down immensely. What would you do if you were the Eagles?

I don't think Nick Foles will be getting a contract anything close to Jimmy G.

Not to take anything away from what Foles has done this year but he's 29 and the Eagles had a good team around him. Heck they had the best record in all of football when he took over for Wentz. I think a team might dangle a one year prove it deal to see if Foles isn't a fluke but that's just about it. IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy G becomes one of the highest paid QBs in the league if not the highest paid. That's just how the QB market is.

Eagles need to sell high on Foles. Some team will give them at least a 2nd rounder. There's no question Wentz is their franchise QB but you don't want a situation where you have the SB MVP sitting on the bench and Wentz goes through a bad stretch of games…

The problem is, I heard Wentz won't be healthy until mid way through the season. Is that right? Can the Eagles afford to trust another back up qb to hold the fort until he's healthy? Kind of a difficult situation to think about.

The Eagles need Foles because there is no guarantee he will heal in time, just look at the Vikings. Whether Foles receives a huge contract or not it wont matter in relation to Jimmy Gs contract. Eagles will most likely keep Foles another year and Niners will sign Jimmy this year, this week if the reports are correct.

I heard he was already throwing. Wentz isn't exactly Adrian Peterson athletic ability wise but we saw Peterson get hurt later in the year than Wentz did and came back week 1 to rush for 2000 yards and league MVP.

Obviously they'll know how far along Wentz is but I saw reports he was already throwing so who knows. I do think they should sell high while they can. His value won't be higher than it is now.

Not many first time SB winners come back strong next year. Look at what happened to the Pats. After they won their first SB it was the one year they missed the playoffs with Brady as the starter.

Sell high, improve your team and go out there and try to win another one and maintain that talent. Even if Wentz isn't as good as he was last year they can win with the talent all around.

Sounds like Jimmy will get signed this week. Any predictions on the numbers?

I’ll guess 5 years 140 mil, 75 guaranteed.
