Got a call from a buddy today who wants to go shoot on Monday. I haven’t shot in 10 weeks. Hopefully I can put a hole in the paper.

What holster would you guys recommend to conceal carry a Glock 19?

I prefer leather. I used to love Milt Sparks but I have changed to Angry Dick Leather. I have 3 of his holsters now https://www.********.com/Iconicgungrips/ He used to work at Milt and since left and does holsters on the side. They kind of compare to Nexus, rides nice and low, great cant and no metal insert. Cheaper and super fast turn around. I also used to love Milt Sparks belts. Sick of the wait time and price. I ordered a Beltman with a stiffner, I like it better then Milt. If you want to add a red dot, Angry Dick can accommodate that. My EDC is a Hellcat with Holosun in a holster he had, combo that with the Beltman, I have never been more comfy concealed carrying before.

I've been on the Tier 1 Concealed gang for a while now. My current CC gun is a 19 in a T1C XIPHOS V2. I have a second one for a G26 and can't recommend them enough. With so many holster options out there I'm sure you'll like any direction you go, however.

thats looks really nice. I'm having a hard time finding a holster for my g19 to accommodate the holosun and even harder to fit my TLR-8A (with the laser).

I've been wanting a Safarilands for the range with no luck……and I also need a CC that works with these mods.

Ditch the laser and also the light or get a real light that tons of holsters fit like an X300 or a TLR1

Your choices are the problem if you can't easily find twenty holsters to fit your G19 as-is

nah….light and laser stays. Light is is a perfect fit and built like the glock was made around it and lumens are great for it. There is no faster target acquisition than a laser/pistol combo on low/no light scenarios. (ref Taran Tactical vid I posted in here) It's the 1-2 mm at the base that contains the laser that companies say is the reason it won't fit (TLR-7A holsters everywhere). Hard to believe by looking at the laser vs non- laser models

There is a reason not one course I have ever attended, one book I have ever read, or one instructor I have ever followed, trains people in, uses, or recommends, a laser.

But okay

Telling you, when you can't easily find a holster for your Glock 19 , that should tell you something

But lets talk numbers and put rubber to road.

What drills have you run with and without the laser and what are your times? Or, what instructors and courses have you taken where you learned that there is nothing faster in low light than a pistol mounted laser?

I would recommend getting one with a threaded barrel in case you want a suppressor down the road. Because .22 LR is a fantastic round to suppress. Talk about fun.

A competition shooter's opinion is pretty much all you need "it's a cheat code". He's a better shot than anyone ITT. It's literal point and pull (no lining up sights, looking through a window etc) with a laser….extremely fast, easy and accurate at a range you'd be shooting in low/no light situations.

Watch the vid….if you think you can hit those targets faster without the laser….I'll buy you a new G19 STOCK

fast is fast…competition or not. I didn't know we were using these things in a situation where time/target impact isn't important.

srs though….watch the vid. It's stupid fast. That vid alone is the reason at least 2 ppl ITT mentioned getting one since posting it.

So what are your times? Are you willing to share your drills that you have run with your carry gun with a laser, with irons, with red dot, and how much faster you are with the laser vs the others?

srs though, go to any training with anybody who knows anything about self defense or concealed carry and then go to some more and tell us how many lasers you see or laser recommendations you get.

Then go to some competitions and see how many run lasers.

No need to check back in with us after, we know what the results will be.

Next thing you know you're going to watch Jerry and think you have to have a double action revolver to be fast lol

All of these. My buddy has a 22/45 lite with a holosun and it's super fun to shoot. He used to have a buckmark, and that was fun, too, but he likes the mark iv ruger better for the ease of disassembly. Smith and Wesson makes a Victory that looks like a solid 22 pistol as well, but I haven't shot one. I have an M&P 22 compact that I picked up for cheap practice to simulate my M&P 2.0 compact and it's been great for that, but the target style 22s are more accurate and have the option for using dots.

Mine's slick with a little 22 can, though. I used it for my trapping gun this past winter cleaning raccoons out of an old cellar.

lmao you don't even know enough to understand that what matters is your performance with A vs B, you're still framing it as my performance with A vs a competitor's performance with B.

Son

So, does that mean I post Jerry with a double action revolver and when you're slower than him that proves you should be using a double action revolver?

lmao

Get off the youtube couch and get some training …we'll wait
