lmao you don't even know enough to understand that what matters is your performance with A vs B, you're still framing it as my performance with A vs a competitor's performance with B.

Son

So, does that mean I post Jerry with a double action revolver and when you're slower than him that proves you should be using a double action revolver?

lmao

Get off the youtube couch and get some training …we'll wait
[insert my setup is the end-all be-all attitude you love to push]….sorry boyo you're wrong. You're claiming your night shooting setup is superior bc you are good with it vs someone else using a laser who IS a professional that says IT IS faster but you want to shoot it down. I bet you were the same when red dots came out. Go back to your irons then. You're just slow shooter laser or not.

brb will wait for your double action rev line…since that pertains to everything.. Too late.

lol, if by "my setup" you mean "anything other than a laser on a CCW pistol", then yeah, "my setup" is better than a laser

I am claiming setups other than a laser are superior for concealed carry because setups other than a laser are superior for concealed class.

Go to a class, get some training, tell me how many instructors in this realm are teaching a pistol mounted laser. I'll wait.

Also lol at the unaware. Back to irons. heh

But, hey, feel free to post up your drill(s) and times and let's find out.

What size? People have different ideas of a pocket size. For me, a pocket size is no bigger than a Ruger LCP.

i've had two guns i've carried in a pocket with a Nemesis pocket holster by Desantis.

the RUGER LCP 2 - perfect fit, OK to shoot, reliability was trash with most JHP. im not sure if they have any new versions of it out, but if you get something that size, it fits perfectly in any pocket

P365- was too large for most of my pockets. could easily get away with it if wearing stinky JOE ROGAN style cargo pants/shorts.

since you are TEXAS style you really should be EDC'ing a Glock 34 in a Keepers concealment AIWB rig

Cool, thanks. Interesting you mention that because i had actually did lots of research and had decided on the Ruger LCP II and then i came and saw your post. I figure it's everything i need and a decent enough gun for it's size and the ultimate concealment i want.

This site was so helpful for me in checking out sizes and weights, especially with the visual at the bottom of the page.

I do have a G19 that i just bought a holster for to conceal carry, and then i realized i wanted more of a pocket pistol for a daily carry. Either way, i'd still have the Ruger for a backup too.

So now i'm shopping around for the best deal i can get for a ruger LCP II. Any help would be appreciated on good sites. I've just been googling, but you guys live and breath this so i'm sure you'd know the best sites to check. Maybe even a good 380 ammo.

Finally got the replacement Mlok stubby grip in and the 11.5 is now 100% complete and ready for paint. With ski season still going strong through at least the rest of the month I may not get to it for a few weeks but excited to finally have it finished. It's been right around one year since moving out of that liberal **** hole California, so not too bad given the stamp wait times, availability of specific parts I wanted, etc.

curious…..why paint? Just to give a personal touch or you aren't happy with the stock coatings? What products and your method to prep/paint? I have the DD Brown (they call their brown color "Mil-Spec") which I really like but I do think it's going to wear with use.

To break up the color and shape of the rifle so it doesn't stand out.

But, most importantly, to look cool.

I haven't decided on which brand of paint I want to go with yet. I'm not even 100% sure on the exact colors or pattern yet. It will probably be a light brown/tan, dark brown, and green combination. Pattern wise, I want to do something where the colors are more blended together and don't really have any sharp separation of color, kind of along the lines of the two examples below (but not as "spongey" as the A-TACS camo). For prep I'll just wipe the rifle down with a rag and then tape off what I don't want painted (such as the light lens). I won't care when the paint starts to chip and wear away, so I'm not going to worry about any serious prep work.
