I've read about halfway through the first year of MMMs blog posts. Some articles have been good, several have been things I'm already practicing, and some just aren't feasible for me. I admire the guy for using a bike as his primary transportation but it sounds like he lives in a bit more of a suburban area that makes this possible.

Frugal is an excuse to underachieve, but go ahead and get on that make believe Warren Buffet train.

Your reality is what you make it.

It was not the mustache guy but rather the samurai guy:

http://www.financialsamurai.com/the-...e-must-follow/

The 5000 a month leasing a BMW is absurd, but so is this just in the other direction.

Granted, I personally spent about 3 percent of my gross salary on a car, whereas he is suggesting 10 percent. Now the car is probably worth 1.5 percent of my gross pay if sold at fair market value (the car is hardly worth anything). So it's not even like I am personally insulted by his post or anything. I just don't think its appropriate for most people. Maybe I'm being a hypocrite here by following the advice and rejecting it, idk.

This thread is relevant to my interests.

Being frugal has paid off big time. Being owned by the things you own is a huge trap.

Were all going to make it.
