Lol. Yeah a hate surprise creepy crawlies. I was cleaning up a half-buried tarp and had a 2-in diameter spider run out of the folds and and onto my hand. It was one of those spiders that move fast like greased lightning. Don't think I squealed, but not far from it. Went from pulling on the tarp to shaking my hand/arm in a snap.

That girly scream might have actually been me at one time.

We were playing road hockey at an outdoor rink one night and the fkin things started dive bombing us. Attracted to the bright lights. were like a hundred of them on the rink by nights end.

Was pretty hot this weekend. Some times in summer are 90 degrees and warmer

Not sure if it’s been posted in 11 pages but do you worry about parasites in meat or fish and is there anything you can do to prevent it

I like to eat thing raw, sashimi and tartare

Inb4 well I didn’t worry about it until now

Nice fish. I pulled in a king salmon the other day. I don't really care for salmon but I wanted to try out some recipes. Any recommendations?

I am of the understanding that freshwater fish should not be eaten raw, although I am sure the risk is quite small.

Cooking removes all worry. Bass and perch have some small worms occasionally. I just cut the ones I see out with a knife, and cooking take care of the rest.

I like sushi and stuff too, but generally don't risk it with freshwater fish

We get salmon every so often here, but I usually smoke it, same with lake trout.

My wife does it with basil and stuff and it is great, but past smoking, cooking it is her department lol

Got my personal best musky yesterday.

Saw and had chances at 7, but this one was the only one that would eat the lure.
