Yeah, very interested to start completely from scratch. Curious to see how long it takes for the economy to get up and running with people making MF chars and knowing what to do.

I don't even think it should even be a thing if that is the case IMO, at least when it comes to BNet, I think single player is fine. then again I didn't read much about that so I don't really know.

that's right now that I think of it. only SP chars. Bnet has to start over ( and should be that way )

also, check this out:



a couple things bother me though

-shako looks lime green, and the OG shako image looks way better
-some items look grainy, in this case the armor, shield, and gloves. hopefully it looks better in game.

also this is a small complaint but i am noticing the way the necro is casting looks different than d2 (in a bad way IMO), its like a forward motion like he's stabbing someone. in d2 the nec has his shoulders back and looks more relaxed when he's casting. sounds crazy prolly but thats what i am noticing.

edit: just went in game with my nec to test and I am not crazy, the casting motion looks worse in D2R.

Do you think the beta will have 100% chance to play if you preorder? I hate to preorder anything but I would maybe break that rule if beta was guaranteed.

Everything is still looking solid, a few spells could need some work with their colors/animations but honestly if that's the worst thing to happen then it's a huge success.

Any of you ever done D2 clone hunting? I never understood how those people were able to track down D2 clone and basically just traded Annihilus all the time.
Seemed like the best way to trade godly items all the time.
D2 clone only spawned twice after many thousands of hours of gameplay.

On another note, I cannot wait for this release. I got a couple of homies who are down to get back into it once the game is out.

I remember when the Diablo clone just came out. I hadn’t seen him yet and some guy i did something ingame with in the past messaged me asking for help. I go in and it takes awhile but we kill him and i was pretty good at timing when to click loot so i got the annihilus. Dude was pissed.

No. Not a single person I know who pre ordered got into the single player one. Seems quite clear that they're primarily only going to let streamers play.

Not D2R, but PD2.... this just happened today



Never found one (that I can at least remember) in 20 years playing D2 on and off... Literally have people in a bidding war on this thing.. Reps til I'm out boyos, this is insane.

edit: sold it for 10x ber + 3x lo + vex = 40 hr

The most anticipated game for me is a remake of a game made decades ago. Epoch has yet to convince me, I mean it doesn't even have multiplayer yet. PoE 2 looks fantastic from what I am seeing. D4 has huge red flags but at least the ARPG scene is seeing some nice activity now.

I really hope it's not like a Nov/Dec release, my body is ready now.

Project Diablo 2 is the chit, should give it a try.

The corruption/map system is amazing.

Saw the thread bump and was semi excited for some release news lol.

Testing seems to have gone all smooth. I don't mind waiting a bit longer if it's 100% properly done but you'd think being June we'd maybe get release month. Should be safe from a "delay" I see no reason other than maybe timing of competitor releases. But then again, it's a fuking remaster.

Idk what to buy this on. I was hardcore against Diablo on anything other than PC for a long time but i eventually tried D3 on PS4 and it was actually really nice. Strongly tempted to try D2 on console.
