Playing on PC with my brother like the old days, chilling on the coach playing it on PS5, and maybe a switch to play on the go with the cross progession is gonna be nuts. I’m gonna have a huge backlog since I’m not gonna play anything else but this.

They did add a shared stash so I’m a little suprised they didn’t make more quality of life changes. Figured the stamina bar would be gone and maybe something with potions like making them stackable. Oh well don’t give a fuk.

Yeah, the only things they changed were graphics, of course, and some other (needed) quality of life improvements.

- shareable stash between all your chars
- updated user interface
Chit like that. Looks like the core of the game is EXACTLY what it was 20 years ago, which is amazing.

It is the ultimate dungeon crawling loot game. Games like it these days are called Diablo clones. Endgame is basically magic finding runs (killing specific bosses/npcs or farming certain maps for uniques/ runes / the best socketed gear to make runewords), pvp, farming experience because hitting max level took forever. Then there is just making more characters to try out different builds or making characters for different roles. Like a magic find character, a LLD (low level dueler) to pvp against other twinked out low level characters.

First it was cow runs until they nerfed it and then it was Baal and Chaos runs. I think 90 was my highest back in the days when cows was the best but i was always making new characters.

Chit, i have to remember the leveling plan me and my brother used to follow. Like do Den of Evil at lvl 3 and then farm Tristram to 15 and then tombs till 24, then rush each other and do Baal until 45 and then kill Baal and head to the next difficulty.

I think you could do chaos runs if you rushed an extremely low level guy straight to hell but we never did that. We’d play those characters together do the missions instead of just jumping straight to the end. I remember having sets of gear for the beginning, another said of mid level stuff for nightmare, and then the endgame final gear. We planned this chit out from the jump. Like the exact amount the str and dex we needed.
