u want a build in security blanket? move the stop lost close to current price and when HF managers throw the kitchen sink at it u position is gonna be closed in green…

I don't know what end goal here but it feels like market has gone to shiit overall.

Everyone is chasing meme stocks.

Throw out word "short squeeze"

Everyone piles in.

Hopefully when unemployment checks stop coming and things go back to normal trading on fundamentals will be thing again.

ASO December leaps looking juicy at these prices. I could see this thing at $70-80 EOY. Would be like 400% gains.

I view it as a natural correction of things. When I first got involved in actively trading a few months ago it was after one of my friends who I’ve known since elementary school did a presentation for our group who were interested. He is retired now but used to write algorithms for a HF that manages like 5bill. It wasn’t any type of financial advice just a breakdown of how things work. He signed a non compete agreement and is not allowed to work in the field anymore.

He basically described shorting as somthing HF do to create capital to invest elsewhere. It shouldn’t be about actually making money from the short, that’s not really the goal getting the money for use elsewhere is.

Now if things have changed and HF started shorting/ naked shorting more in more as they noticed profits being gained from it, they begin to **** with the balance of things. People caught on and this is the correction. When it balances out and they either accept losses or get liquidated I don’t imagine anyone will dig this deep of a hole anymore.

Not almost all of that is my interpretation, friend was just explaining how they viewed shorting and it’s used during his time writing Algos. The rest is my analysis.

Don't have the time to explain fully but as much you think ITM options is gonna move AMC it will not anymore.

There is puts going up on AMC as well this is no longer 90/10 ratio of calls to puts its now become 60/40.

Keeping the price pinned at 40 to 60 AMC is exactly where market makers wants it to be so all the idiots buying $145C just watching it burn up.

Volatility traders are feasting right now on amc.

Is there any way to see avg position size? Would be interesting to see how many people are holding just a few hundred $ worth of these stocks.

Citadel(who shorted amc/gme) holds HALF A MILLION shares and 20k+ call options, in CLOV alone, not sure about the others like wendys. lol.

Gotta raise that capital to cover somehow and cause fomo. HF have access to information we don't and the ability to cause FUD. Would expect nothing less.

AMC/GME attacked and held back. They technically should have both already squeezed by now. I'm a patient fella though.

water is wet.

they are all in on it.

just like AMC ceo not wearing pants to try and show love to wsb apes.

it would be foolish to think hedge funds are just sitting on sidelines while this is going along.

the amount of premium that was thrown on AMC last week is mind bending.

brb

ride that shiit on way up.

let retail hold the bags after.

than wait for next up down ride.

citadel pays for robinhood order flow.

once that part sinks in you will understand retail is playing checker and they are playing chess.
