Have the ZPAP, there is some stuff out there as far as the furniture goes (not as bad as you would think). Significantly heavier than the Arsenal, but this is misc so I guess just lift more. The trigger is nicer on the Arsenal but I wouldn't say that the trigger is bad on the ZPAP.

Maybe it's the right way to go. I know the build quality and those beefy trunions on the ZPAP are amazing.

I paid STUPID money for Zenitco grip and charging handle so I doubt I'll be getting a B-33 and B-10 for any reasonable amount of money.

I've been looking at Polish AKs too.

Zenit-anything is off the charts right now. Midwest Industries has the Alpha series furniture out, but idk how good they are. I've heard good things about the Polish AKs but have had zero experience with them.

Anyone have experience with CGS cans? Looking at the Hyperion as a dedicated can for my 6.5 RPR. There's also a deal with SilencerCo right now when you buy a Hyperion you can purchase CGS' .22 can for $99. I am being gifted a Mk4 and have a 10/22 and was playing around with the idea of getting a .22 can. That deal seems pretty sweet. Regardless, the Hyperiod seems to be an insane can for dedicated bolt guns.

And nothing good will come of it. We'll just stick our heads in the sand over the real problems of prescription drugs and the results of the "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.
Precisely. I'm not giving another ****in inch. I mean, look at what happened today. Gavin Newsom proposed a new amendment to the Constitution that would ban guns. These people tell you EXACTLY who they are and what they think of you. Yet, we have gun owners voting for these mother ****ers? Imagine being a gun owner and voting for Biden. Bunch of fat retards that don't deserve to own guns they're actively voting to remove.

Haven't done it yet lol. I've still been skiing several times a week. Hoping to ski over the 4th of July weekend. I did order a Rapco color swatch example which arrives tomorrow. Once I decide which colors I want I'll order the paint and then do it pretty soon lol.

I want to see some reviews on it.

That TWS Dog Leg is apparently pretty flimsy per some reviewers. I would get that otherwise.

I have a Hyperion k and a cgs hydra aluminum. Can't find anything to not like about either, other than the aluminum 22 can restricts options for cleaning. On the other hand, the light weight is handy for using on a pistol. Really like the hyperion k, and the full length hyperion would be on my shortlist of I was getting another. My only disclaimer is I haven't been around a lot of cans and I've only had these since the beginning of the year.

The .22 can would just be a fun range toy shot on the Mk4/10/22 every once in a while. Maybe a few times a year. Cleaning issues shouldn't be that much of a factor with seldom shooting it like that, yeah?

What do you use the Hyperion K on?

Yeah, cleaning wouldn't be much of an issue if you're not shooting a bunch. One of the guys from CGS recommends using thompson center bore butter on their aluminum 22 suppressors and says the fouling will just wipe off if you do. From my experience that's true if you clean if fairly soon after shooting. If it you wait and it dries out, it doesn't really help much at all. My plan is to pick up a soda blaster. My hyperion k mostly gets shot on a pair of bolt action tikkas one in 223 and the other 6.5 creed:

I picked it up mostly with hunting in mind, which is why I got the "K" model. I had the 6.5 cut at 20" and the 223 is a little longer because it's a super lite with a fluted barrel and 20" would have put me into the flutes. I've shot it on guns that have the sig 25 degree taper to match the suppressor and guns with a square shoulder, and both have been fine.

I wanted something so my kids don't have to mess with ear protection in the field. They've lost some opportunities because they just weren't fast enough.

Edited to add: I actually have an RPR, too, but mine is a 6 creed. I haven't tried the suppressor on it yet. First step would be taking off the factory muzzle brake and I just haven't gotten around to it. I hear they put them on pretty tight.

I have an aluminum suppressor and titanium suppressor, both are user serviceable.
I shoot a lot of .22 LR, and the aluminum can is a real pain in the ass to clean. Aluminum can't go into a ultrasonic cleaner so it needs to be cleaned by hand.
The titanium can gets soaked, then into a ultrasonic cleaner for 30 min, wipe it off and reassemble. Done.

Cliffs: get a titanium .22 can and not one made of aluminum.

Yeah, in a perfect world mine would be titanium but for $99 I wouldn't feel bad getting aluminum.

Neither would I, that's ridiculously cheap.

Aluminum is very light and inexpensive. Other than that it sucks.
Titanium is great for .22 and pistol calibers, or for dedicated hunting cans. Light, strong and easy as hell to clean.
For rifle calibers, steel is definitely best. The extra weight is worth the added durability.

I currently have an unthreaded p10c, an 16" AR, and a wolfman 9mm suppressor.

Is the P10c something I should conceal carry? I'm 6'1 and 22% bf so im fairly big. What should I use for home defense if I live in a fairly small apartment? I was thinking of buying a threaded barrel for the p10c, keeping that at home, and conceal carrying something smaller like a 365xl. The ar seems too bulky for my place tbh.

Biden will veto the bill (that just passed with bipartisan support in the House) protecting pistol braces.

Remember that there are gun owners out there, including regulars in this very thread, that voted for Biden. They are not our friends. They are the worst type of anti-gun people that exist. They are the enemy and should be treated as such.

EDIT: The person below me is one of the enemies that is actively supporting the largest gun control advocates of our time.

I used to be in the service and had a security clearance. I'd occasionally had to go into a SCIF for work and was never allowed to take my phone into the area or bring out classified documents or discuss intricacies of what happened in there.

I was in college during the lead up to the DJT/HRC election. I sought out diverse spaces and experiences on campus and in one such situation, I was in a "round table" discussion in a black space. I was one of three white people in a room of probably twenty five black people and the topic of why we were voting for DJT/HRC came up. I was the only one that said I was voting against hillary and I said, "I have a security clearance. If I had a private network or took classified documents from a secure area, I'd be making big rocks into little rocks at Ft. Leavenworth. I refuse to vote for her." My vote didn't go for her.

I've seen lots of good reviews for the Hyperion but haven't played with one in person. A buddy has one in jail right now so maybe in another 6+ months I'll have some first hand experience huehuehue.

Can't beat a $99 can and silenced 10/22 is very fun to shoot. Probably my kids' favorite gun to plink with besides the Mark 3. I like to throw CCI quiets in mine and use it like a bolt action for max shhh-ing. It being aluminum is a small negative but the price and fun factor more than make up for it.

Actually remembered one thing that is a minor nuisance with the Hyperion K. It's a fatty at 1.75" diameter. With a low mounted scope at low power it can obstruct your view through the scope. I don't think you would have a problem with an RPR though. My experience with them as been you have to mount scopes on them pretty high in order to get behind them comfortably.

my ol man has a old 22 bolt action rifle..I think it was handed down to him by his dad. And he shoots CCI quiets all the time to kill pesky rodents so the neighbors don't hear and also hunt some small game. He loves the damn thing. Last weekend he nabbed 2 rabbits and 1 ground hog. Gave the 1 rabbit to a fox to take back to her den/cubs.

He wanted to put a scope on it to shoot reliably in the 50-100yrd range but was limited to what he could mount on it. Being an old gun he had to use the offset rings mount options….and mounted a damn Leopold to it lmao. I'm damn certain he spent 3-4 hundo on that 4x scope.

I don't know why imgbb keeps flipping my last two pictures. What other good sites are out there to share pictures?

Also I became a quick fan of this EoTech, it's a nice piece for $380. I'll rock it for the time being, and who knows, I might keep it on this 16" and maybe get a magnifier down the road. Or I finally decide what LPVO I want and swap it out. If I decide on the latter, eventually I want to build an SBR, and I'll put it on that.

We had this come up with the SM1 reticle because at 1x it's 15 mils to the opening in the shoe, or a 5 yard hold.

Gents

Stopping in to ask what types of jeans ya'll are wearing these days? I'm having a devil of a time finding something that "fits the bill" so to speak.

5.11 Defender Slim's are my every day run of the mill jean. However, my work often times has me in scenarios where I need to be wearing something slightly nicer. Unfortunately, with most nicer pairs of jeans, I run in to a couple consistent issues:

- the dreaded "5 Beltloop Jean." two in front, one at 3, one at 6, and one at 9. This inevitably leads to the waistband sagging below the belt.

- the rise is so short, that when worn while carrying, there's no room for the boys, and they end up smashed on one side of the inseam.

I'd really really prefer not to have a closet full of "these are carry jeans, and these are ones I CAN'T carry if I'm wearing."

Help a brother out
