damn getting removed by the playstation store and giving refunds for the game is simply a reality check for CDPR.

Have it on Series X. If I wasn't a disc-cel I'd probably return it too.
But I really can't be bothered driving into town to return it because I think in a year or two, they will sort out a lot of the bugs and I'll buy it again anyway.

Also got a day one discount and paid $80 instead of $90. It's like they knew this was coming.

Maybe because I'm stuck at home with covid but I'm still loving it (on PC), but Best Buy really needs to get their sht together. My Collector's Edition…

Should be here by the 22… wont hold my breath on it.

Yikes

They need to fire every executive who signed off on releasing this game. At least Halo Infinite was pushed back a year. CDPR is like fuk it we're doin it live!

I was furious with the crashes at first but since the 1.04 update they’ve been a lot less frequent.

I totally get why Sony has made this move but I feel as if I’m living in another universe when I see the complaining about the PS4 version.

Been experiencing crashes every time I play for more than half an hour (on PS5). I'm setting this chit aside for the next couple of months. Had a lot of fun in the beginning, but this is becoming competely unplayable at this point in.

Had an enemy standing around the corner just waiting for me to kill him…. chit AI is chit. I'm constantly getting pushed by the environment when sneaking. I see weapons floating. Sometimes I can't pick up loot, even though there's nothing blocking the item itself. When I try to place down a body in any other location than the containers, it just places it in a random spot. Sometimes I'm unable to select dialogue options, because it scrolls through the options automatically. Only way to continue is by choosing options at random until I happen to select the correct one.

It's like this game is actually trying to fuk up the experience.

the physical versions are still in stores I suppose, so I may hope CDPR will continue to optimize the game (?)

the only right move to make was to cancel PS4/XB1 versions all together, release the PC version and further down the road release WORKING console versions for PS5/XBSX

sure they would have got backlash and lost a lot of money but the situation as it is now is far worse imo

I find it a real shame since I was totally on board for the game and put a lot of trust in CDPR as a company

but you reap what you sow

I have the XB1 LE sitting here, not gonna bother trying to refund it but gonna shelve it until the XSX version is out

still moderately optimistic that might still work out lol

It is traumatizing when you see a piece of loot marked usually on the floor and you cant loot it like a record or paper or ash tray and you get baited into trying to loot it and then you quickly realize its not gonna work and it happens quite often.

question for Series X brahs

with the Smart Delivery, if you insert a XB1 disc into the Series X does it download the digital edition of the game from the store of does it still take the data from the disc?

just asking because I don't want to install a 200GB patched up mess if a polished next-gen version were ever to arrive lol

since I have a day 1 physical copy atm, which is by far the most broken version of the game to be ever pressed lol

If you go to the online cyberpunk store there are clearly employees modelling the shirts etc because there are some proper purple hairs in there. Maybe some geek can cross reference with that pic.

Some LTC queens are evident too.

Please tell me there’s a way to buy/obtain Claires truck at some point. Big bish is bad and is one of the best handling vehicles I’ve driven so far.

Takes data from disc and then downloads a patch which is pretty large. Ends up taking 60gb ish. You should have 2 discs in the case.
Still runs like an obese American and is full of bugs anyway.

aw fuk bye so even on Series X you need to install it from the Xbox One discs?

sucks, when you insert a 360 disc into a Xbox One it just downloads the digital version and the disc only act as a key

They shoulda postponed the release for that gen, upper management dun goofed hard imo. Game had already been delayed multiple times so its not like it would be unprecedented, and you avoid the big negative hit to your brand while eventually still making a ton of money off the game.



They might have been anticipating a much larger player base on next-gen consoles by now, but then supply shortages stepped in and they had been lowkey neglecting the previous gen version. It's still a fukking dumb thing to allow happen because previous gen is a massive % of the market so it should get a significant amount of optimizing work.

you guys know you can get V's original rally hatchback at the big trash dump east of rancho coronado, I came up on it by chance

kinda my favorite car in the game, the AWD makes it way better to throw around. Big difference in cyberpunk vs GTA driving that makes it way better is that you can apply full power when sliding, GTA makes it cut off so you can't properly power slide.
