Living back at home has officially started to drive me crazy. Love my parents to death but after living on my own from 20-28, I now notice they have a tonne of annoying habits. I live in the loft of the house (it's a huge house, but pretty open so I can hear everything) and my dad is a morning person. He gets up at 5am and BLASTS CNN or MSNBC because he's going deaf. My mother on the other hand stays up until 2am watching TV, it's not loud, but just the muffled noise drives me nuts.

I've officially booked a flight to Florida (we have a house down there) for a week of alone time Sunday and I CANNOT WAIT. Might head over to Miami for a day and go creep on some chicks and Supercars on South Beach.

I live at home and I'm going crazy and stressed. Not sleeping, eating and gaining weight (just what I need). My house is tiny so I have no space at all for myself. No space for anything in my room other than a bed. Nothing really in my basement as I have my "home office" down there and now my mom sleeps down there so when I want to watch TV or play video games I have to try and drown out the snoring.

Luckily my friend is going just as crazy and will be looking to move out so we are looking for places to live. Hopefully he doesn't take a job up north or else I'm stuck at home until I find a way out.

I was teasing… waxing is a terrible thing to do to a man!

Head phones?

If he took a camp job, might be the best of both worlds for you. He'd only be there off-hitch, rest of the time you'd have the space to yourself.

Ear plugs?

Lol you're both braver then I am. I can tolerate being at my parents place for a few days, maybe a week tops; it's beautiful 122 acres awesome view, if you don't want to be found there's ample space to disappear. It isn't because they have any weird habits, or anything like that. It's the whole "as long as you live in my house it's my rules" thing. Stupid things like when to eat. I wouldn't ask to move back in, and I don't think they'd let me anyway.

Anyone here in the Ottawa region? I'm looking for a car and one specific "dealer" called "MyCar" has the one I want but I checked out the reviews and it's basically 5 stars or 1… And it's a decent number of reviews. Anyone have experience with them?

Not sure how bad it would be on my back. Have a fairly high pain tolerance. Now my chest, nope not happening I just trim that ish.

Headphones won't really do anything when I want to watch TV or play video games.

I lived with buddies through most of uni (age 19-23) and then moved back in with parents 24-29. I was in the basement so I didn't really have to see them much but was still a huge adjustment. Been living by myself for almost 5 years now. If I had to go back now I think I'd shoot myself.

Note to self: never shave with disposable razors again. Two strokes in and my face nearly exploded. Still trying to patch up the damage.

I noticed fuel here was .69/L this morning not gonna complain about it.

It's +2 here too… no rain just a few clouds. Windows open, shorts on… I'm ready

I don't know about disposables, but never use the razor your GF uses to shave her legs on your face

Well the weather still doesn't know if it wasn't to be winter, spring or summer. The Canadian market is tanking so everything is becoming super expensive like $10 for a head of cauliflower. Shopping in Canada sucks example there are like 100 items on Amazon Canada where all of the good stuff is all on Amazon (use to live in the USA miss it so much). But gas is cheap so we have that going for us but still not as cheap as the US.

end rant.

Would be fabulous if they sorted out AB is an energy province lol… open some more jobs up.

Don't you have local growers? In the spring I plant a little garden on my apt balcony, last year it got hit pretty hard by yet another random hail storm in the summer, but a few things survived.

I used to live in the states to, lived in 3 but have traveled to 17, I actually don't miss it, except for Amazon Fresh (order groceries online, pick a time slot and poof they're at your door). Portions are ridiculous, traffic is well scary depending on what part of the country you're in, and I always want to walk up behind the guy who's pants crotch is down around his knees - haul those things up and ask if his parents didn't teach him how to dress.

I want to get one of those as well. I have a Shavette so it just uses the safety razor blades so no need to hone the straight razor.

I've been on the same bar of soap for like 6 months and I bought a pack of 100 blades off amazon for like $15. LOL at paying $25 for like 4 gillette cartridges. I should get one of those as well but I'm pretty sure the first few times I would look like this:

It's not bad because at first you're super careful until you get use to how much pressure and the angel you can take. The main thing always go in a straight line, the moment you go across you'll bleed.

I bought the Astra Platinum blades a 100 pack. I don't think I'm 1/3 of the way through the pack.
