I've only done two fights, I think you're locked out of everything during the fight. I didn't try hacking but you definitely can't use items.

This probably, I am having a blast when i didn't like the game at first. Probably 10 or so hours in.

My problem was starting the game on hard, and enemies took an absurd amount of bullets to kill. "moderate" encounters ended up becoming to easy while the very hard were still too hard, so i just cranked difficulty up to hard so moderate things feel more fun.

so far the only expansion dlc i can think of is going to japan for whatever idk. they don't talk about the other american cities or states in this game lol. though im not that far in the story

They talk about the free state of Texas a lot.

I’d love it if DLCs were simply more interiors in the existing city. Maybe in some of those locked doors.

Completed the main game and all major side quests. Not much else to do for me in the game. Gonna **** around every once in a while but otherwise I'm done until they release the first DLC, whenever that will be.

this the first time i've seen doing an NPC quest that does something/makes a difference in the world. helped these guys way out in a different place somewhere. and found them here and initiated a lot of different dialogue. wonder if there are more of these. just ran into them walking around here no quest marker or anything

1.05 dropped. Base PS4 looks soooo much better. Stuff actually loads in even while driving. Character models loading in as they should… before you ever actually notice.

Edit: Yuh. It's 100x better already. Even busy environments you don't get pop in… at least none I've noticed. Some of the lighting and grainy look still exists, but it's a huge improvement.
