I know. I love that he loves my music.

It was an epic concert. Unfortunately it was a trillion years ago so I really don't remember much but it was on their Rio tour.

Non ticketed concert next month which I cannot believe is free Toby Keith, Trace Atkins and Clay Walker. I paid to see Toby before! I know my way around that venue I attended it 10 years ago with another miscer actually. I’m just going to go with my daughter.

Yeah it’s her birthday next month too. Turning 14 she was born less than 2 weeks before Christmas Day!

Let me know how Amy Lee is live. I hear she’s still killing it. And still looks very beautiful!

Awwww that's great! So it's like a bday present for her.

I really hope it doesn't turn vax only and I can let you know how she sounds. She is beautiful and her voice is amazing. Same with Lizzie Hale.

After rescheduling it many times due to Covid Toby Keith finally made it to town. I was ready and anticipating it as here in my state that rich attorney kept putting out the ad for it 3 months.
Toby Keith is a true American, a patriot and pure heart through snd through. Trace Adkins the country music legend. Clay walker I have been known to get wild to his music. Several of his songs I partied and drank out to in my younger days.

We had a great time although by the time Toby went on the kiddo looked out of energy lol. You should have seen it people dancing wiggling themselves just having a damn good time. I really wanted her to love Toby and I think she does. Who wouldn’t love him am I right?? Respect him as a performer and as a man.

Oh wow. That sucks. I'm really worried that they'll put vax mandates in place before the rescheduled date for my concert. I'll be so pissed if they do when we could have gotten it over with last week with testing.

That's great the concert finally happened! This was the one you took your daughter too, right? I bet that was so much fun! Was that her first concert?

It was a first concert together but she has gone to them before with her mother.

We had a great time and she tagged me on social media and so many Likes and comments poured on saying she is growing up so beautiful and that we looked like we were having fun which we did.

I’m hoping we can see rock fest next year it’s been rescheduled so many times and it’s got so many great hard rock and metal bands but no moshing there so that’s a good thing I think.

Awwww that's so great! Hopefully you can continue going to concerts together. I love that my son is my concert buddy.

Assuming you are no vax crew then. I'm not either (but I'm not fanatical about it, think people should get jabbed, just not me, just selfish crew here) and have a Tool show in February. Hopefully they don't require proof of vax.

And if they do, they better offer refund because that's a pretty dramatic rule change from when the tix were bought.

In other news, Foo Fighters are touring only in venues that require proof of vax. I'm cool with cause it takes the uncertainty out of the equation.

The Killswitch/ABR/Light The Torch tour is FINALLY rescheduled for February of 2022. Really hoping this thing does not get rescheduled again.

As annoying as it was to wait 18 months to see when/if this show was coming back, it beats all the concerts that've rescheduled multiple times or cancelled at the last minute.

Yeah it really sucks that they've changed the rules after the tickets were purchased. When I bought mine last spring there was no testing/vax required. Now they can possibly change to vax only.

Hope it happens in Feb! Cancelled would really suck.

aannnd my city will be requiring proof of vax in order to get into entertainment venues.

I'm not totally anti-vax, so I am giving it some thought. But leaning towards not getting it still. I wish they would give a testing option. That's reasonable enough.

Concert is in February. Mandate goes into effect 1/15. Maybe they do away with it in time...or sell tix.

What happened with your concert? Did they drop the vax requirement? So far I've only been to one concert that required vax or neg test within 72 hours. That was in January.

Went to see Shinedown this past week and it was aahhhhhmazing as always. They are so awesome in concert. Highly recommend!

Anyone else been to any shows recently? What's on the horizon for this spring/summer?

I saw a psy trance show in LA. Vax required and mask required. Upon entry no vax check and everyone removed their masks at the door threshold.

Debating on going to a show in Denver. But no concrete plans right now.

That's good no vax required at door. Also good no mask required. This show had no Covid restrictions. I'm pretty sure all Covid protocols have been dropped completely.

Maybe everything is dropped now everywhere? But at the time, it was near peak Omicron, LA county had a mask mandate and vax mandate for shows. It was just nice to see people not following the ridiculous protocols/mandates. And also just getting out to a show was nice. Looking forward to when there's no restrictions in Europe, love the shows out there.

Yeah it is nice getting out to shows. I really missed them the year or so they weren't happening. When I went in the fall to see Shinedown it said mask required and we had to wear in line to get in but once in most people took them off and no one said anything.

Sorry I didn't see this! Wow that's a long time for your hearing to be messed up. How long did it take to come back to normal?

Anyone else been to any good shows lately? I'm getting some concert tix for my son for Christmas.
