I'm also skeptical about how much women even care about so called "resources" (at all) like some claim in this thread. Even for ones who are a little older.
When girls liked me, it was entirely over looks. Being a physician, international athlete in 2 sports, great physique, business owner and having an enormous CV would in theory translate out to "resources" , right? But they largely cared about the fact that they were attracted and somewhat into my personality. I guess some pretended to care about stuff I did.

What I have noticed though, is doing well generally appeals to other men. It's like with bodybuilder physiques for examples. It's the guys who are impressed by other guys. The opposite sex doesn't care.

As an extra twist, I'm seeing a loott more guys give major value to the girl's career.

Kind of crazy this thread is still going.

I have no trouble believing spade getting young girls. If he is good at sex, already huge, sincemost random hook ups are just bad sex. Second he has a bad boy vibe, which is attractive. And he is fun to be around, i.e, not boring. And if he, on top of it, is successful, what is there not to like? He's no dummy, either.
Pretty much my take on that.

FWIW never meant to suggest that men just continue to be able to get 20 somethings. Just that women's peak market value is in their 20s, men's is in their 30s. So for a 24 - 29 year old woman to start a LTR with an older man within 10 years isn't too unusual...so 34 - 39 on the higher side; 30 - 35 completely unremarkable.

I can comment on this thread as a fellow doc. In my mid-thirties currently. Dating an 18-22 range would be difficult, but I did date a 22 y/o first year med student two years ago when I was a chief resident. She was probably 7 on the scale.

Being a physician and in better shape than 99% of the guys my age, the 25-30 y/o women have become very easy. I only date college educated women, and all of them have their own careers, but they are still looking to date someone who’s higher up on the social ladder than them. Female hypergamy has some merit IMO. So yes, it has become pretty easy from that standpoint. I have somethings going for me. I am in great shape and am very successful in my career. So while I’m a bit older than dudes in 25-30 range, I still am a better option than most of them. Most people say I look in my early 30s.

I do agree that this may be different for someone in their 40s. Although I suspect I’d still be able to sleep with women in their 20s, most of them would be gold diggers, whereas right now, any 25-30 single woman is fair game.

But end of the day, I'm guessing you're still getting with women in your own league. And not succeeding with the 8+ types (because this is the part that the misc has long believed).

We keep talking about age but how they match up league wise against you matters too.

I would probably rate myself 7-8 on the scale. And these are the girls I usually go after myself. I notice that most 9-10 around 25-30 age are taken. The ones around my age (even if you can call them 9-10 anymore) have usually a lot of baggage. The ocassional single 9-10 in 25-30 has way too many options for me to even bother. I don’t chase anymore and I don’t have time for her games. I have slept with a 9 on the first date once, and it was her who laid out the game. I was smitten, but then she ghosted on me, which I assume was because she found a better option.

I would say if you have a lot going for you, women will overlook the age thing to a certain extent. MISC has strong cope and lots of women hatred. If you weren’t slaying in your twenties, you won’t be slaying in your 30s. It’s not like women will just flock to you with no panties. Only way to get there is to achieve rockstar status.

Yeah but if you're a 7-8, you could have been a office worker making 60k and still getting about the same success as you would being a physician like you are.

But what if you're a 5 which most guys are. Is your high-end "money status" suddenly pulling in girls like the internet says?

I simply don't believe that you are so hideous you need as much plastic surgery as you say. Do people in your real life that you are close to concur with this?

Actually no, I would almost always win out over an office type. It’s almost a guarantee if we’re the same looks wise.

Being a surgeon generates a lot of interest, you’re underestimating it.

Also, the best way to bag a 9-10 is to be a 9-10 youreself. That supply runs dry at my age. Although right now I’m casually dating an ER tech, she’s 24, most would rate her 8+.

We had a surgeon in here who's more of a 5 say the opposite though. I'm sure it helps immensely in your own league, but we're talking about shooting above.

There’s only one 8/10 at my gym for example and he’s very noticeable over all the other guys there.
If you only have one 8/10 guy at your gym than 9-10 people must be unicorns.

Anyway, came up with the rating as an overall package, not just looks. Although looks aren’t bad at all. I’m a brown dude and get hit on by black girls all the time, and an occasional white girl. I know I’m not some god’s gift to this planet, but at my age, compared to my competition, I stack fairly well.

That guy also admitted to having no confidence at all and being very awkward. I’m not the most outgoing guy, but I’ll take my chances with the girls I find attractive. And then there’s those that openly flirt, those are easy pickings.

Also, you’re a med student, you have never seen a surgeon having a wife/gf way out of his league? I would say it’s way more common than it is for normal dudes. Come on man.

I've mentioned it a bit to a couple close friends that it's all about the face and that I was getting surgery. Occasionally Older people will say I'm handsome, but I know it's not true. I don't do that good with women.

And I have already had one consultation for double jaw surgery. It's not just my looks though, I need to make an effort to approach women as well. But I figure the looksmaxing is an investment, so at least in my early to mid 30's I'll be better looking. And I'm careermaxing as well.

One of the major resources I think bullchit is mostly due to changes in society. Having a job, house, an car mattered before women entered the work force. Now ? They can get that **** on that their own. So unless you're outright BALLIN a decent doesn't matter from what I've seen. Female friends of mine have shut down lawyers, doctors, engineers, software devs, and etc on the spot. Lot of my boys from school that pull 100k+ ? Most of them still have women in their own looks range. Plus having so many male relatives that are broke, couch surfing, dealing petty drugs, or etc? ? Loads of them have girls that look girls, or multiple baby mamas with women that actually look good.

inb4 misc cope of "well those are low quality women and miscers are just TOO HIGJ QUALITY for a girl that bags groceries to like them"

hehe.. I think it's like IQ. We're mostly 5's, but the difference between 5 and 6 is not as remarkable as 6 and 7. The same as in IQ of 100-120 not that special, yet 120-140, it would start to become really rare. So yeah, hardly anyone is a 7. maybe the pretty girl in high school everyone remembers. And eights start to be models already, nines and tens unicorns.

More common than the average dude? Sure. But actually common? Not at all. A lot of women don't care. To those who do (and it's a minority) it's at best a +1 but even that's a stretch.

Or this one, upgraded, like 20 years younger than him.

I know a couple anecdotes like that too. But for every one, there's 10 that are more looksmatched. But I did agree it's more common than the average dude.

Agree with everything you've posted minus this. I was pretty much a low confidence FA in my early 20's. I pulled, but very few and far between.

In my late 30's/early 40's, I've matched Vogue cover models:

(Inb4 everything)

As well as a former playboy bunny (I don't have proof you'll have to be leaf me)...

Didn't date them. But I have dated/smashed more, and more attractive women in my late 30's early 40's than I did in my early 20's.

Also my tongue and dick game improved immensely. Im surprised I even found the hole in my twenties. Now I have bishes traveling hours and ready to fight each other for a ride on my dik (srs).

Yeah it's crazy. Older women can bang younger men. Guys like spade can pull younger women for sex. Now if a younger guy wants to get an older woman pregnant, it's probably for the $$ or he wants to help her out before she's too old, as hell there are sugar mommas out there. Same with a younger woman with an older man: resources.

So it boils down to sex with most age gaps, or resources with age gaps. Now I personally know 4 married couples IRL where the woman is 15+ years older than the guy, and my cousin is married to a guy 30 years older. She has daddy issues, that I know. Plus she doesn't need to work with him.

Posted this before but my scale is:

5 average (vast majority of people)

6 above average, cute (vast majority of irl attractive people)

7 goodlooking, pretty, handsome (popular kids in high school, prettiest girl at work etc)

8 model looks, head turning looks, can make money off your looks

9 extraordinary looks, Brad Pitt, prime Brooke Shields, prime Angelina Jolie, VS top models etc

10 subjective!! A 6/10 who you really like can be your personal 10/10. This is the best one.
I don't use that scale at all, and I don't think any Miscers do. I would put models and Brad Pitt, etc as 10s, and very good looking people I know IRL as 9s.

9 extraordinary looks, Brad Pitt, prime Brooke Shields, prime Angelina Jolie, VS top models etc

do you go on reddit.com/r/truerateme or something? Same scale they use there.

In real life happens faster than many people think about it. For a lot of things, I am on pare for reacting to it as it is happening. I am on speed. For women, it happens, I react as face saving manner as possible and I think about it later.

All absolutely true.

There are plenty of Timothy’s with good jobs, nice houses, cars etc with no dating prospects or at least not good ones.

If resources are part of the pie chart that women look for, there’s still several other factors at play when you’re talking quality women.

Gold diggers focus on the one thing but even they are seeking out millionaires, not some dude with a paid off Honda.
Be patient like the mountain. And you will learn to be strong.

100% serious 50% of the time.

You probably could have had you had the confidence, what I would say is if you have the looks in your 20s and maintain physical fitness, there is no reason why it can't continue into your 30s but if your not attractive in your 20s you're not suddenly going to become attractive in your 30s. Basically, it's all about the looks.

As for younger dudes banging old hags I really don't get it. MILF porn does nothing for me I never click that chit.
