Yeah it sucks.

I thought eForm 4 didn't go live until Dec 2021? How did you file electronically in Oct 2021?

If you did a regular Form 4 you may be in for a longer wait.

Do you file electronically?

Unless maybe you have a complicated return that needs to be looked at more thoroughly?

Silencer Shop submitted it, or rather them. My understanding was that was how they were going to file it back then because they were giving the average timelines to approval for both methods, paper vs electronic. Or I missed the fine print somewhere. Did they cash your tax stamp in April, or did you submit the paperwork then? All I got from the ATF person was that it was "under review" as of Oct. 7, which is when the stamps were cashed.
Could you define ______ for me, please?

If you somehow did an eForm 4 in Oct 2021 you approval is waaay overdue.

Most likely it was a regular Form 4, in which case you still have some time to wait still. Ya never know though, could come any day now.

Temporary solution from Oct 2020? Ok.

This is the price of collecting guns without a purpose or direction. Don't be 4ea. Buy a few guns you'll actually shoot, optics and ammo for them, and get real proficiency.

certainly is a tragedy to have one spare firearm with a cheap scope mounted a little too low, especially when i have so many others that are good to go.

but its a bigger tragedy to be such a loser that your own daughter makes fun of you for it. you would know all about that, wouldnt you ike?

Your photo expired with Silencer Shop, not the ATF. I had 2 stamps go over a year, neither required an updated photo.

Yes, compared to my wife, who is a Commander in the Navy, and executive officer of a warship (selected for command), I have achieved less professionally. I console myself with my job that I genuinely enjoy that directly supports and benefits my hobbies, passions, and interests, as well as my happy home life. Interestingly, my daughter is much more able to understand the concept of a "subject matter expert on Riflescopes" at the age of 10 than she was able to understand a "County Tax Collector" at the age of 4. Weird?

That bizarre interaction aside, thank you for again validating my position that a suppressor, ammo, and training are of wildly greater benefit than your "nth" gun.
