Dec. 2, at Seattle Seahawks (5:20 p.m., NBC)

Dec. 16, vs. Seattle Seahawks (1:25 p.m., FOX)

That is so weird to me? We play them twice in 2 weeks?

Fuk…so much for waiting to watch the games. I thought maybe some games which aren't prime time at least wouldn't compete with the Pats and could get played here but first 2 weeks are conflicts which means any non Pats games are blacked out around here and I can't not watch week 1 live, especially against a tough NFC opponent.

Overall I think we're getting screwed a bit on the schedule though if we can get through some tough stretches the end is favorable. This is what's being reported

Week 1: @ Minnesota Vikings, 10:00 a.m., FOX, Sunday, September 9
Week 2: vs. Detroit Lions, 1:25 p.m., FOX, Sunday, September 16
Week 3: @ Kansas City Chiefs, 10:00 a.m., FOX, Sunday, September 23
Week 4: @ Los Angeles Chargers, 1:25 p.m., FOX, Sunday, September 30
Week 5: vs. Arizona Cardinals, 1:25 p.m., FOX, Sunday, October 7
Week 6: @ Green Bay Packers, 5:15 p.m., ESPN, Monday, October 15
Week 7: vs. Los Angeles Rams, 5:20 p.m., NBC, Sunday, October 21
Week 8: @ Arizona Cardinals, 1:25 p.m., FOX, Sunday, October 28
Week 9: vs. Oakland Raiders, 5:20 p.m., NFL Network, Thursday, November 1
Week 10: vs. New York Giants, 5:15 p.m., ESPN, Monday, November 12
Week 11: BYE
Week 12: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 10:00 a.m., FOX, Sunday, November 25
Week 13: @ Seattle Seahawks, 5:20 p.m., NBC, Sunday, December 2
Week 14: vs. Denver Broncos, 1:25 p.m., CBS, Sunday, December 9
Week 15: vs. Seattle Seahawks, 1:25 p.m., FOX, Sunday, December 16
Week 16: vs. Chicago Bears, 1:05 p.m., FOX, Sunday, December 23 (I’m not positive on that time)
Week 17: @ Los Angeles Rams, 1:25 p.m., FOX, Sunday, December 30

Opening up at Minnesota is a huge ask for a still young team. Vikings were the #1 defense last year and should keep getting better. Great ovearall defense who doesn't make a lot of mistakes, great pass rush, very good secondary and solid linebackers…and an offense which has big threats all over the place and returning Dalvin Cook.

Definitely a throw your dicks on the table and see what you got type of game. If we win this one we're going to have some crazy ass momentum to roll with into the rest of the season.

I don't like how our Rams games match up. We're playing at home but we're coming off what should be a tough away game at Green Bay and going into the Rams game. Then the likely crucial week 17 game is at LA. Would've liked to flip that.

Hate that we're playing the Bucs after our bye but who knows they could be much improved team and that extra time could really help.

I guess at the end of the day you play the schedule you're dealt and it's hard to have a perfect schedule…there will always be things to complain about. It's a bit early to start predicting wins/losses but on paper the second half of our schedule is much weaker than the first half so if we can start off strong it could be a fun and longer than usual season for us.

Need to kill the draft, watch the young players from last year improve and stay the **** out of prison and let Jimmy G and Kyle run this chit.

Twice in 3 weeks….i think it's happened before but hopefully since the Hawks scrubbed out their whole team and Sherman is on our team now we're not going to get destroyed with injuries while playing these guys like we used to.

We're certainly overdue for some injury luck…as in not getting killed by injuries. Last few years have been brutal.

Good point… I really do not think they will be the same this year. Though they always find a crazy way to win.

So with our schedule out how many wins are you guys thinking?

I'm waiting til after the draft to do that…too many unknowns now.

I'm changing my mind on having the Vikings week 1. I wanted an easy game to keep the streak going and keep the momentum up but even with all the hype about us this season we'll certainly be substantial underdogs in this game.

Viking fans will be loud as fuk and excited to see Cousins run that very talented offense.

We need to find an edge rusher to get our DL to the point where it can be a serious strength.

I saw a lot of people point to Nick Foles torching that defense but the Eagles OL is much better than ours, their defense was much better than ours and Case Keenum isn't Kirk Cousins. Plus Vikings will have Dalvin Cook back and that offense will be stacked.

Really hoping Harold Landry is a 49er this time next week and it helps get our D to another level.

Yeah bummer we have the Vikings in week 1. Oh well its only 1 game and might be good to get Jimmy G's first loss out of the way before the hype train becomes to real.

The draft can't get here soon enough. Srsly my favorite time of the year other than actually watching a 49er game.

Happened to catch ESPN on at the gym and they were doing their dumb mock draft where people were actually walking down a staircase and announcing the picks…

Our pick was Minkah Fitzpatrick. Why? Because we have needs all over the secondary because Sherman is coming off an Achilles injury and also Tartt and Ward will be free agents next year.

Not sure I get that logic at all.

I like it when players do this: https://www.sfchronicle.com/49ers/ar...n-12858605.php

It helps them get to know each other before the season starts.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and…It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

i feel like we already have a guy like that in Ward. If we go DB, i'd much rather have Derwin James. I mean i know the train of thought is, what happens to Tartt? I think Tartt can move to FS, with Colbert backing him up. Ward can play the slot.

Having two fast, rangy hard hitting safeties would be nice. Also i think we'll be able to get a quality CB on day 2 or 3.

I don't mind Minkah. Guy is a stud…not certain if he can play outside corner but his leadership, work ethic and determination is infectious and having guys like that on the team is a good thing.

He would be my 5th favorite pick though.

2. Roquan

and the weird thing is that, i feel like lynch knew the truth, or that Reuben told him the truth when news of this first came out.

IMO before the details about getting hit, dragged, etc came out, Lynch was operating like he knew Foster was innocent. I think we'd all agree how surprised Lynch was when the DA filed the charges and those details emerged and thats why he said what he said about him not being on the team if it was true.

Lol, wait. You guys believe this story? Damn guys.

I’m for hoping for the best or the benefit of the doubt…but get real. This is obviously spin cycle, and high dollar work. Good looking out on the law team…but Foster is still a dirtbag, and his gf knows the meal ticket, life they live. He just didn’t turn into a dirtbag. She understands getting slapped around is part of dating dude.

Seriously…Lynch didn’t know **** outside of maybe how likely the gf would avoid cooperation and what a legal team could do. He is sitting pretty. Even if found guilty, he will say it didn’t happen as the chick isn’t cooperating and he doesn’t have to cut Foster…but still took the strong stance. This is 2d chess.

This. Who knows what happened but apparently there is a video of the 2 girls fighting too.

Wish people would let these cases play out some before making their harsh judgments. At least get both sides of the story.

Much more likely she was paid off or is recanting in an attempt not to miss the meal ticket…and it’s not even close.

Why would she stop trying to get over on him now? You were already there.

The incident happened February 11th. That day Foster got pissed that his g/f who got into a fight with another chick and then broke up with her. In revenge she called the cops and reported it as such…

It turns out that a few days after she retracted her statement with her lawyer and also brought up that she has video to prove the whole thing. Case closed right? If all that is true then Foster is incident. Well even with all that the D/A said whatever and charged Foster anyway. Again if that whole thing is true that D/A is in some trouble. Bringing up charges on someone even when there is proof that it didn't happened, and it even went far enough that he was arranged at court?

Now we know why the niners did what they did. They were in contact the whole time and probably had their legal team involved. But what I really want to know is if all that is true then why did it take so long to come out?

Do i think it's likely it's that cut and dry and he did nothing and she made it all up…no.

But there IS a chance that's exactly what happened. And fact is because of Foster's other less than intelligent situations people don't believe this actually went down that way and still think he hit her.

We'll see what happens but the fact that there is a video of her being in a fight at worst it's a clear issue of doubt if the DA insists this goes to trial and honestly with this information being public if the DA does push for a trial then it's bordering on gross misuse of power by him.

Notable unsigned veteran free agents hours before the draft:
* Dez Bryant
* Eric Reid
* NaVorro Bowman
* DeMarco Murray
* Johnathan Hankins
* Eric Decker
* Karlos Dansby
* Brandon Marshall
* Bashaud Breeland
* Kenny Vaccaro
* Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie

A few big names but not sure I would want to pay them what they would demand. I thought Bowman signed with the Raiders? Or was that a 1 year deal for last year? Sad to see him like this… Oh well he wanted out. I bet her would love to be back in now that the team pretty much did a 180 and will be competitive again.
