If they made something like that for a pistol I might be interested. More perishable skill than pulling an AR trigger.

I'd love to practice with my 9mm polymer excellent best in class Glocks at home.

Currently have a brand new 762 in storage!

Bidding on a new 556. It's at 1050 right now and I think it'll go for under 1200. Crazy right?

Libs combined all the individual state suits into 1 that the 7th circuit currently has "under review", but the fix is in based on their Naperville ruling and they're based out of Chicago…We think this is the final case that will affect the TRO so i'm eagerly sitting here day to day….hope all my **** comes become the ban LOL

But you have to hope the big SC steps in before then. I heard they are forcing Cali to finally rule, which might be the lynch pin for them all to fall. Libs in ban states are slow walking at the circuit level since they control those in all the blue states. But even if that gets appealed (which it will) it then goes to IL SC, which again the fix is in! Gov Trans fat gave 2 of the SC judges $1mil/each when they were nominated and Burke's wife is the 3rd out of 5…so you know….You saw how they ruled on the SAFE T act alone….fix is always in here!

GL with your orders brah. I’m sure your wallet is loving your purchases lol.

I was following developments pretty closely a few months ago but tailed off. I figured every ruling would go anti-2A until it reached the SC and I didn’t want to keep raising my BP

I just end up trying to stock up what I can and get out there

Spraypaint and glue

Spraypaint base coat, apply glue in bands, apply spray paint, apply glue, apply spray paint, apply glue, etc, until all layers are on.

Let dry, then hose the rifle down with decent water pressure. Glue (and pain on it) comes right off.

Amnesty F1 came through almost 6 months later. Oh well, now I can have a stock.

Rattle can colors of your choice and beer. That’s what I do

I tape anything I don’t want painted: muzzle, trigger, etc and stick in a magazine

Edit: that video was pretty cool. Hope RThoe watches

Just to add on to what others have said:

Cerakote is good and much more durable than spray paint. On the other hand, spray paint is cheap and easy to touch up. To me, the extra cost of cerakote isn't worth it so I've always just painted. Ikeman's video is cool. I haven't seen that approach before.

The last couple I've done were sponge jobs, but I've used stencils in the past, too. I think I prefer sponge. I've used krylon and rustoleum with about the same results.

I've used Brownells Aluma-hyde II. It's more expensive ($15), but worth it. Way more durable than rustoleum.

I've always thought the same. But that vid does look good. I'd try it on a cheap gun. Not rattle-canning a DD with factory color coat
