They don't need to go much higher I don't think unless the data support it, they just need to stay at this level for the next years and it will eventually create the necessary squeeze

This pattern is pretty clear when looking back through history:

Orange line is Fed Funds rate, blue is the S&P 500

Source:https://www.macrotrends.net/2638/sp5...-rate-compared

Rates go up until they're sufficiently restrictive, then rates are held at that level until activity drops, recession happens, market takes a nose dive and that's when rates are cut to stimulate the economy back up

Did anyone here get in on SMCI? I didn't but based on the chart, it shot up 150+ dollars in the past 2 months. seems like it should correct a bit even though the longer term trend is up..

So I bought a 7/21 $200 PUT a few days ago. Down a bit since i bought in at the wrong time.... but hoping SMCI will dip into the 220 area soon and i can get out with some gains

Just waiting for June to end so everyone can forget about the political BS and it can get back to the 160s.

Cano CEO finally stepped down Friday and stock exploded AH. Hope it continues- I’ve got 100 $2c I bought between $15-20 each. New interm ceo was previously a C-suite Humana guy so hopefully the buyout is back on!

I'm not sure whether to hold the PLTR stocks till they're worth 100s or sell them for $20 or whatever it is

SABS if they can figure their fukking $$$ out I genuinely think this could be a $10B+ platform.

Legit if they could get some fukking funding figured out they could easily pump out a fukton of relevant products that would be miles ahead of current therapy in many areas primarily in C. Diff treatment and T1D progression delay, but also organ transplant rejection prevention and respiratory disease treatment/prophylaxis.

SABS has a 2 hr R&D video out there from the 14th and I've listened to some of it. It sounds so freaking promising, but if they can't get their shyt together and get at least 1 product to market they are dead in the water and no one will even bother picking up the platform. Such an insane either $100/share(in 10 years) or $0 share company(in 2 years). Fukkkkkkkkkkkkk.

To prove my point Sanofi just bought provention Bio for $2.9B. Their only product to market is Tzield which is a less effective version of SAB142. They have 2 other products in their pipeline and that's it.

SABS142 is a humanized version of RATG which is a rabbit source'd thymoglobulin which leads to serum sickness. SABS huge advantage is its humanized so there is no serum sickness and you can infinitely redose.

Had a covered call expire in the money by four cents and it wasn't assigned. Was happy to make money off the premium, and was hoping for assignment as my shares would have been profitable too.

This morning the shares dropped in price and I didn't get to profit off them. Would've been able to profit off the shares and then buy back in cheaper to write my next covered call.

Broker claims assignment isn't guaranteed and that they have no responsibility.

What's crazy is how much those are to fix if you get in a wreck. So high that I wouldn't be surprised if insurance companies stop insuring them. Or just raise their rates.

Yeah, didn't the Ford have 100 mile range or less? Even the Hummer can only do 133 from what I read.

^^ The Rivians are still likely underpriced though, I've seen people commenting after teardowns of them and saying they're built like Ferraris with hand-painted parts etc

They should be more expensive, but selling at a lower initial price and then making $$$ over the long term with repairs/servicing is kinda how the Auto industry does it
