Glockcels, what mags should I get for my G19 build. Are factory Glock mags the way to go? How about slide assemblies? I'm tempted to just get a PSA slide assembly too for the money lol.

I'm seriously considering buying the suppressed Larue upper for 3k, but I'm having a very hard time deciding between.300 BO and 5.56 barrels. I mean 300bo does sound (heh) like it'll make more sense for a sneaky SBR build, but that ammo cost though.

I only use the factory glock mags to carry but do have some magpul for the range that haven't given me any issues. For the slide, tons of people use the dagger slides without issue. I happened across a killer open box deal on a GPP slide at PA so that's on my Strike80. I just printed a g19x frame and will prob snag a $200 PSA dagger slide for it.

For 300bo vs 556, depends on how much you're going to use it. If you're not going to be shooting it a ton, 300bo is the way to go. Plus 556 is very gassy.

I have two .30 cal suppressors and have shot A LOT of subsonic 300 blk. It's not as quiet as a many people assume. We're talking 120 db which is much less noise than a 5.56 SBR, but to call120 db "quiet" is a bit of a stretch.

If quiet suppressed fire is what you seek, nothing beats suppressed subsonic .22 LR. Love shooting CCI Quiet-22 ammo.

Just throwing it out there.

A 120db 30 cal doesn't count as quiet? That's just silly.

No, 120 db isn't quiet lol.

120 db vs the eardrum nuking report from a 5.56 SBR, yeah it's quieter.

I think I'm at like $2.2k for my ADM, like $1.2k for ACOG in QD mount, $350 for light, $1k for can…pretty much spot on $5k.

But I really really need to take the cog off this one and replace it with the eotech (god dammit) I have sitting in the box + the super tall mount because rifle is also wearing a d2. That will up the cost point a bit

Factory Glock

No, don't ****ing put PSA bull**** on your Glock

Leave it stock or get something minor, with factory Glock internals, from someone good like Maple Leaf Firearms

300 blk is not a gimmick, but…well…get 5.56

Best value for a good trigger still has to be LaRue M B T type

Geissele is very good also but tends to cost more. G2S on sale is their value pick

I haven't used a Geissele (need to try one sometime), but I do have a couple Larue. I have used a stock trigger, and the Larue is a huge upgrade over that. I have an old (20+ years) Rock River NM trigger, and I think the Larue is a little better than it.

One other observation: if you want Geissele you can save some money waiting for a sale. With Larue, if it has been on sale, it hasn't been much of a price drop. You're doing good with Larue to even find them in stock.

I see that. The link you posted is already out of stock lol.

I wonder how this stacks up with a Geissele? I have one of their handguards and it's pretty solid

That's strange. I double checked and the Larue's are in stock, it just looks like "M B T" got changed to asterisks in my link. I have a couple ALG handguards (sister company of Geisselle) and I like them. Someone here has probably tried those, unfortunately I got nothing.

ETA: Apparently Farley knew it was censored. I wondered why he bolded the "B" above.

Yeah that fixed it, thanks. No brainer decision when you can get a quality part for <$100.

Found these little things last week and they're perfect for your work bench. Like being young again, one little squeeze spits out just the right amount.

No need for holstering belt. Dumb expensive but I’m going to try it out.

Edit: also, what’s your guys go to place for hollow points? I tried searching federal HST and it looks like they changed their box? I can’t even remember if that’s what I used to carry. I know it was federal premium 124g hollow something, I believe it was HST.

Geissele is very good also but tends to cost more. G2S on sale is their value pick
I have an M B T in my 11.5 and a KAC two stage in my 14.5. I've used an SSA-E a decent amount. I honestly cannot tell the difference in the three triggers. M B T all the way.

I was absolutely blown away at how efficient and easy the DMV is in Utah. I had to renew my registration just a couple weeks ago and I didn't even need to get out of my car, they even put the sticker on my plate for me lmao. Was the complete opposite of those ***gots in California.
