Yes, and yes, on the one rifle that is setup for NV. It will be the only one without an ACOG

A few random questions.

Why has the technology of NV been around for so long but the cost is still so high?

If I take my flip up irons off to test mount something else, will they hold my zero if I put them back in the same spot?

Because manufacturing reasons. I watched a vidya that explained it awhile back and it made sense but I forget. It's expensive

Got my AWS Lab belt in. Thing is solid and well made.

Im also looking for more good range/training pants. I currently have 2 pairs of Helikon UTG's and i really like them alot but figured id ask if there are any other brands around the 100-150 dollar range when i go to order.

Im not looking for 350 dollar G3s lol

Figured I should pick up some type of radio for being prepared for emergencies. . A while back you guys spoke highly of Baofeng? Does this still hold true. I assume a ham radio like that is what I should be looking for?

Get an amateur radio license. You'll learn a lot in the process, and it's cheap. Lasts 10 years at a time and requires a small fee to get/renew, no test required after the very first time

http://www.arrl.org/licensing-education-training

Baofeng is the cheap but works "gets you on the air" local VHF/UHF go-to

Lake City M193 is the most consistent/accurate 5.56 ammo that I’ve ever used (relative to price). BH MK262 is submoa accurate out of a barebones 6920 but not worth the money.

I think winchester website, they’re doing the rebate on m855 too. It’s a little annoying, you have to cut out that label from every box.

Yes, winchester website:
https://winchester.com/Rebates/2023-...unition-Rebate

You do NOT have to cut each upc code from every indv 20rd box. It was the code on the large box they were packaged in.

It's absolutely worth the money if you're shooting at distance.

If you only have one rifle chambered in 5.56 then agreed.

Otherwise, outside of competition, it’s actually retarded to use 5.56 over 7.62x51 at those ranges. Especially since match grade M80 is way cheaper than MK262 from what I last saw.

Most people have one go-to rifle to go-to, and generally, 5.56 makes the most sense for most people's rifle.

Which LAM are you running?

My primary pants are OR Ferrosis. They’re sort of a soft shell and extremely breathable. I run hot so they’re great for that. They are pretty thin and don’t offer a ton of protection from any type of rough ground, that’s the only downside.

I also use OR SeaTac pants, which offer a bit more protection.

I recently picked up a pair of knock off Cryes that I’ll try out. My buddy picked up a pair of Crye Hot Weather G4s and they’re ****in amazing. Just not sure I can stomach over $300 for ****in range pants lol.

No hipster pistols for you? P10c is solid, I have one, but it's comped, so no carry. Kiddo grabbed a OR model for, like $300ish. Stupid cheap.

The ones I handled off the gun store shelves were non impressive.

Still unsure what I'm actually doing with my 509 Compact MRD or whatever it is. Got a PDP too. Really the 'smart thing' would be to just sell everything other than the Glocks and Shield Plus and that's that

And a VP9 or two

I only carry the Glocks. Still have the SP01, because I need at least one "real" gun, and it shoots crazy good. Burnt bronze G19 w/optic is getting carried more and more.

In on EOTech echo chamber, I love mine.

I stopped by the store today to process and pay for my background check and FFL fees, the check was done by the time I got home. FML lol. I was told that Nevada could take 24 hours to process. While I stopped in, I found out they had an open spot in their CCW class tomorrow, so I signed up for that. After that class and I process my paperwork and prints at the PD, it should take about 4 months to get my permit.

Kinda late to the game but I’m just now getting into pistol red dots. I shot the G17 with RMR today. I really need to train more with it. Don’t have enough confidence yet to carry it
