Is arik armstead even a real person? I’ve read about this mythical character and do recall him being drafted high…I just can’t remember ever seeing him play.

I'm so ready for first preseason game. Glad to hear Dante Pettis showing up well once the pads came on but would like to see him do it in real games.

Always like to hear guys are doing well in camp/preseason but really I want to see it in the real games. Preseason games are a step up from practice since as receivers now you know you're going to get lit up by the opposing team if the opportunity comes up so that takes a toll.

Really hope we avoid major injuries this year. Need to see pass rush show up and curious to see the secondary with the pass rush out there. Don't care if Sherman is getting beat on 1 on 1s. People showing the gif of him getting scorched by Goodwin like it's something shocking.

Dude was blowing by guys like Patrick Peterson with a head start, he's certainly going to smoke Sherman. Of course how often will receivers get a free release against him in real games?

RG is the biggest question mark. I'm not ready to freak out over McGlinchey getting beat in 1 on 1s though I'd feel a lot better if the guard next to him was better.

If Garnett wasn't a recent first rounder it wouldn't suck as much…but those fuking picks are so important that anytime you have a guy who can't make the roster by his 3rd season…and really last year that IR stint was a throw away.

Thankfully at least he got the Buckner pick right but I can't believe I was willing to give Trent a chance.

I did like the Ward pick but fuk…he's like another Bruce Ellington. Just can't stay healthy.

Armstead was never one that excited me but I was hoping he could grow into his potential….can't stay healthy either.

Like I said…thankfully he at least hit the early draft pick but fuuuuu….I hate to use hindsight but if it was my call in each of those drafts we'd have(not saying my picks would've been much better in some cases)

2012 - honestly I don't remember who my guy that year was cuz i had a lot of chit going on and really wasn't up with the draft as I usually am but I think it would'be been Stephen Hill or Reuben Randle so not a huge improvement if any
2013 - Sharrif Floyd all the way. Not sure how he would've done here but honestly Reid pick probably would've been better but I also really like Xavier Rhodes so the Vikes draft left me crying from jealousy.
2014 - I liked Ward but probably would've taken Jordan Matthews over him
2015 - Marcus Peters
2016 - Buckner was the easy choice but I wouldn't have traded up for Garnett and just stayed put to take Cody Whitehair or Noah Spence

Of course using hindsight and knowing what we know now…we could've walked away with this haul

Those guys on this roster right now would certainly make us elite. Oh well…

Hopefully Kyle and John keep doing much better. Last year's class looks special on paper as long as they keep growing and improving. This year's class has promise as well even though it may not be as sexy.

It's still training camp so I'm not going to get too excited about anything but damn Jimmy has been on fire last few practices.

Dude has been dropping absolute dimes out there last week or so. Seems like every day this week he's ended practice with a big TD pass.

even with the upcoming preseason games i try not to get too excited about watching guys play against scrubs, but you can at least get a glimpse of what they're capable of. I personally cant wait to see Dante, Bourne and Joe Williams in action.

I actually like watching preseason games. I think it is fun watching a seeing who might actually get a shot on the team. Going from 90 players to the final cut is always crazy.

This doesn't surprise me, but then again it's only training camp.

Hate the injury to Kittle…sounds like it could keep him out a while. I hope that just means the rest of preseason and he'll be back for week 1 but I'm afraid it could be longer than than.

Kittle was going to be a huge part of the offense and we really needed him against a team like Minnesota.
