Past 20-25 it becomes unbearable and toxic if your mom and pop constantly question every phuckin decision you make and it is never good enough for them.
I srs believe that living 2-3 extra years as an adult with my parents had put me into depression. Hard to get motivated to make any steps in life knowing they will always be ''bad''.
I don't get folks who are past 30 and are ok to stay home with their old folks

But you gotta flash the big guns early on to appear as a catch
Feeling like that don't exist the first few dates
If you are 30 + and you tell that to your date you live at home , well don't be surprised when she hits Brad later that night who got his own spot

How do people not understand this is absolute brainwashing?
Every single ****ing gown up in your family needs to spend a huge chunk of their life dedicated to working for this one thing because my personal opinions.
lol at trying to shame people for not wanting spend hundreds of thousands of dollars (which is actually meaningless, the time you sacrifice is what matters) on paying for a material thing when there are other options.
You are weak and will only do and think what you are brainwashed to.
You see how excellent they are at their job?
They get nobodies to shame other to spending money.
Recommendation: let’s help each other and stop facilitating their BS.
Unlearn everything.

Also when people are separated they are less likely to fight against big brother, and are more likely to fight among themselves, like we are seeing now

Once I reached about mid-late 20's I started to butt heads with my dad a lot more. I think this is common around that age. You naturally start to feel a desire to break away and have your own space without having to answer to anyone but you're still living under someone else's roof so it comes out as frustration and anger. My wife has told me that the same thing happened with her and her mother around the same age.

Opinions are like *******s. Everyone is just as free to disregard the opinion of others as they are to share their opinion. I could not live with my parents as an adult. I'd like to be nearby, but I need my own place.

Edit: in case it was not clear, I’m not knocking living out on your own. I recommend it. At least so you know what it’s like.
