Yupp. The itemization of this game, which is the very core of an rpg, is a complete mess. Games 20+ years old like Diablo 2 are light years ahead of this still. Cdpr had so many successful loot driven rpg’s to learn from and we got the same 20 weapons at different rarities and that’s about it
But I guess cyberpunk is a story driven rpg not a loot driven one….with a 92% linear story. L. O. L.
Anyways, I started up Immortals Fenyx Rising since somebody gifted it to me and
1) it looks better on ps5 than cyberpunk does. By a lot.
2) is already more fun in the first 20 min because the combat feels nice and fluid
I haven’t had the slightest desire to continue cyberpunk so I’m done for now. Maybe I’ll check it out again after another 100gb of patches

Honestly I agree, 50 hours in on a PC with 3900x, 32gb 3600mhz ram, rtx 3080. So many bugs and issues, so much missing and cut short.

I can tell there's a good game under all of it but yeah, it needs another year at least I think. Got very far in the main story and a critical part has bugged out for me making it un-finishable (enemies have all turned invincible somehow, reloading does nothing). On v1.06, the straw that broke the camels back for me. I'll pick it back up on a new save when it's actually a finished game.

i think the main thing when it comes to the graphics is the lighting optimization. game looks amazing under proper lighting conditions. but looks complete ass in the daytime or not around lighting
i'm like 75 hours in. and have barely ran into bugs. i ran into like two crashes the entire time, that's it. everyone that has issues on PC seems to have a GTX card. I have a vega 64. probably something to do with that.

it for sure wasn't ready. but I think the management at the company was like it has to release 2020 because of the 2020 references in-game. even the people working on the game said it wasn't ready. they got terrible management at cdprojektred that's for sure

Like they could hardly get any single part of this game actually complete and properly functional. You'd think 1 aspect of the game would at least be complete, like AI, police, crafting, sound design, save files that don't explode, SMT for AMD CPU's, ..etc.
The first Act was great, I loved the characters and everything, but Act 2 onwards it all falls apart into a giant mess and it's basically totally ruined for me after realizing that.

So far I have every icon on the map looted in Watson, Westbrook, and the Badlands. All I have left is the main city central area, Pacifica, and the 6th street ghetto area.

Lots of times it can really pull you in and feel amazing, until an NPC t-poses through the scene and you get launched across the map by walking into a pebble.
