Anyone suggest a good utility for stock/crypto tax tracking? I don't care if I have to manually enter all the buys/sells just want something to double-check my math.

Get a CPA. It probably costs less and you get their signature that your return was prepared by a tax professional.
See title.

Can we have an actual discussion instead of chit stocks 24/7?

I see two likely outcomes tomorrow:

"We will begin tapering around [date] but continue to watch the markets and target 2% inflation" (although they won't do chit and inflation will continue to rise)

"We will not be tapering until we have made a full recovery but we will continue to watch inflation indicators" (still won't do chit but SPY calls will print on that day)

I almost guarantee it wants to be pushing 300 again this week but they are selling off their 5million shares and keeping it bouncing around 220.

8k form has trimmed proxy vote numbers showing the entire public float. It’s definitely over shorted I don’t see how that’s possible that 100% public float voter turnout occurred, I lean to agree that it was trimmed to not show the over voting.

Highly unlikely, just saying it's a possibility with these stocks.

A big part of my whole investing philosophy is investing in what you know and understand. If you know O&G, I think you'd be silly to not leverage that knowledge

Also in O&G and I spend 50-70hrs per week working in and thinking about the industry, so there's not much that I'm gonna have a more thorough understanding of

If it's a chit business then they should short it. Think I would definitely enjoy this side of shorting, investigating companies and exposing their garbage practices

Hindenburg is pretty bally publicly shorting another company like this in the current environment tho no question, just wait for the squeeze crowd to jump on buying it up

I don't think this will pan out well for them.

I fully agree, just long term for me I'm not an investor. I believe there will be a select few o&g companies that will still be highly profitable in the next 10-20 years. And those companies are diversified into other areas.

As for swing trading I do plan to start doing more research in o&g(once the shorted stock stuff cools off, a lot of money to be made that I will then be able to invest), because you and I both know when chit is typically about to hit the fan and that does give us an edge.

Exactly what I was thinking. Unless there's more to it than just the short position they have.

There's going to have to be news about the 5 million shares being fully offered before we see a major run imo.
