I guess my rifles aren’t finicky. I don’t ever recall having an issue with 5.56 or .223 from any manufacturer.

Simply going outside during the winter is a 30+ degree difference in the majority of NA. I don't think its that rare. No comment on mfg feasibility, however.

It’s usually the 20” rifles.

Overgassed carbines are less finicky imo.

Can confirm on the .22

The 555 round boxes that used to be like $10 half the projectiles were loose and could be easily pulled out by hand. So many failures.

In other news. My Labor Day REIN 3 steal will be delivered today. I got the torrent SBR mount for it but if I get the Benelli M4…I’ll have to rethink mounts.

Anyone use the Cloud Defensive torrent SBR Mount and like it? I didn’t really get the difference between that and “in-line” mount other than the SBR mount has a bit of a “twist” in it.

Yes but I have Torrent pic rail mount.
Pushes the light out farther for less shadow from the can.

I didn’t want the pic mount bc it would be basically like my OWLs lul.

See I got the SBR mount bc it said it pushed the light forward 1” while still limiting rail space it uses.

You’re right. I didn’t specify. I got the SBR mlok mount. Bc it says it pushes it forward 1” while minimizing rail space.

Yup it does. And the mlok version can make the light stick out further than the pic rail version I believe.

The way I have mine mounted in those pics is way back, it can go out farther but it's more sturdy the way I have it now.
