Anyone have a Chromecast or anything similar? How good is it in Canada also does it cost anything after you buy it other than streaming services?
Can't you just hit up Pacific Mall and get it all for a one time fee? I know they used to do Apple box there, but no more 15 DVDs for $3 or whatever. Loved it there.

I wish I could eat back on a cut after a few days off lol. Nonna would not be happy.

Well I have no apple products and have more Android products. Also Chromcast is like $40 so not breaking the bank at all.

Atta boy.

Finished Uncharted 4 last week. 10/10 game. Just started Doom recently only got 20 minutes into it. So far lots of fun.

I'm not sure yet, Unfortunately I have an Xbox One so no Uncharted 4 for me.

I might play the last Tomb Raider game, and I also have a copy of Evil Within which I installed and never played. Also, Elite Dangerous looks kind of interesting. Any other recommendations? I have Xbone

I really want to play the new Deus Ex but it won't be out till later

So I finally got a job offer in the states in my field. Most likely not going to take the job because the pay is going to be next to nothing and if they don't pay me it will be grad school but it doesn't look like they have a program I want to do.

Nice I wish I had time to take a week off and do nothing. There is a laundry list of games that I have to play but just haven't had time

Have any of you been to Kingston? Went this weekend for the first time, downtown is so dope. Plus I've never seen a school so sick looking as Queens, makes our universities in TO look like ass.

Yeah Queens is pretty nice, I went there for a week during high school. But Kingston is such a small city, I feel like it gets boring quick. This coming from a guy that went to Western and got bored of London.

Yeah, Kingston is cute. Been there a billion times. What did you think was dope about the DT?

Like the total opposite of downtown Toronto. Just liked how non-cluttered it was, plus that area near the docking is nice with the view. Always liked smaller cities…or maybe after living in TO it just bores me now.

I feel you bro, the walk from the outskirts to the core was only like half hour.

Anyone here in Ottawa, or very near it, know of any good beaches outside the city? Since apparently every native Ottawa person says they wouldn't go into the water at any of those beaches, lol.

If I was to ever move away from my current town, into a 'city' Kingston would be my #1 choice. I love Kingston.

Probably like 2-3 hours ideally. 4 would be pushing it but still acceptable depending on the isolation and the beach.
Just heard about one called Sandbanks from two people within 3 days of each other with no contact or mention between them. Think that may be the trip.

Lol yeah apparently E.coli was a big thing in beaches, didn't know that till I moved up here, lol. Thanks for the handy app.

OH!! You have a huge amount of great options then. Sandbanks is supposed to be amazing. I've never been there myself. E. coli is a big thing at all beaches. Don't worry about it. Srs. You won't die. You probably are covered in e.coli right now. I'm actually wasaga beach, but I lived in the Ottawa area for the first 19 years of my life. Are you hoping for an isolated beach? You just want a day trip, or to camp there?

I mean, ideally it would be a beach where I could find a little piece/peace for me and a few friends or find a secluded part from crowded main areas. A bit of privacy is always nice when I just want to go into full relax mode. Probably just a day trip, not really equipped for a camp quite yet. I mean if there's a nice cozy beach within a few hours that's got a nice motel/cottage to stay at, I'd be okay staying a weekend there. Of course if it's in Quebec I'm cool with that too, just no crossing the border.
