So with that said, this has been the easiest cash I've ever made; it feels very strange to me. I was always taught there's no such thing as easy money, so this is a very bizarre, albeit exciting area to be in right now.
With that said, I sense (and this is admittedly intuitional/emotional, along with the knowledge of a highly speculative market cap in a young hyped market) that major crypto market cap correction will happen down the line. IDK when it will happen; I doubt it's coming anytime soon so I'm staying in the game for sure - at least not until common folk have easy access to crypto investments and that settles down.
I'm very bullish on blockchain disruption in general, but that doesn't mean the current market cap is realistic. Anyone else think about this - I guess slightly longer term thinking?

It approached $1000 and I almost pulled the trigger (I guess that was early FOMO, but resisted), then it fell down again and I thought I had made the correct decision.
In mid 2014, I researched it extensively - I read through the whitepaper, learned the protocol, mining, and details. I read about the obvious scalability problems; and also read criticisms about government never adopting Bitcoin - and believed they would create their own instead (possibly a fork).
For those reasons I decided not to invest, based on what I felt were rational critiques.
Even with all those criticisms, it continued to grow though. I bought ETH because I was attracted to smart contracts and potential to disrupt (I still prefer Eth, but it's like apples and oranges). I saw BTC blow past $2k, $3k, $4k and was like what the fcuk... the market didn't seem too phased by the critiques that I thought would kill it.
Eventually I just said fcuk it and bought some within the past few weeks. If anything it helped mitigate my alt losses.

I say this because I've had friends come to me and ask what to invest in and they'll always ask whats the next 5-10x opportunity.

Around 12 am eastern it picks up.
Definitely more than just last night

So it's the gradual bleeding away that kills coins; but like you said if you just set a stop loss at 50% and sell you avoid that.

I am not doing this in hopes of getting rich. It is merely satisfying my curiosity now that I actually have stakes in it, doing a lot of research and learning a lot. It is an interesting concept/market for sure.

The FUD is immense, everyone calling it a pump and dump.
Ignoring other market forces, i.e when Bitcoin is rallying and alts dumping, ETP simply ignores and goes its own way. WTC did the exact same.
This is looking very good.
If it can sustain this, leg up + dip trend, people will soon notice it's not a P&D and then you get the mainstream money all jumping in, AKA the NEO at $50 buyers.

Speaking of Mona there's another Japanese coin called ALIS. It's patterned itself after steem and is targeting the social media scene in Japan. They do a similar system of rewarding people for providing content but they only use one Token. I'm thinking it could be another Mona as Western social media doesn't really penetrate Japan(per their white paper). Japan is very pro blockchain with Mona and Bitcoin being accepted, team seems to be very smart Founder is a Nuclear Fusion major.
Downside is its inflationary. Still looking into it.

It is still crazy that btc is $5000+ a coin and you have these alt coins that are mere dollars per share.

Has anyone looked into or heard much about Genesis Vision ICO? Its scheduled to hit Oct 15.
Here's link to white:https://genesis.vision/white-paper-eng.pdf
Seems pretty ambitious, but also VERY intriguing.
They are "building a new decentralized platform that aims to bring exchanges, brokers, traders and investors together. They state in their whitepaper that by using blockchain technology they'll be able to provide a completely transparent platform to facilitate lending between professional traders and investors."
Seems like they are essentially trying to create a "mutual fund" sort of environment for crypto.
What you guys think?

Damn Incent going to double. It had plummeted hard due to bittrex putting a delist notice. About 60% I was this close to buying at the bottom because I looked around and didn't see any people talking about this or the company talking about it. Would have had to sell ADX to get it and I wasn't going to chance it. Now its almost back up. would have been a quick double up.
